'That does put a smile on my face.'

With this I'll have enough stat point to max out my stats which will help me get a better evolution. If only I was able to choose which race, I can evolve to it could've been very helpful. But alas I'm not the one to call the shots here.

I focused even more on my opponent since this is an opportunity that I would be rarely able to get. This guy might be even more dangerous than he looks since all he displayed was his ability and from the looks of it, he was holding back greatly since he is an A rank from the looks of it surely, he can do more than just throwing lightning bolts. I tried to get more information by checking his stat

'Well, that's great'

"You really think you can defeat me in the remaining 5 minutes?"

"We won't know unless we try."

"Have it your way then." he said and disappeared from the sky

I started to look around, but I couldn't find then I saw a small spark passing by point of view trying to make its way behind me. Which I allowed it to do and once it was close enough, I swinged my sword with my top speed. But unfortunately, he was able to dodge in time without being scratch despite my effort. and now the spark started to be a little clear showing the shape of man Infront of me.

"You almost cut my head with that. Why are you trying to kill me dude?"

"Because you had almost killed me you fucker."

"It was just a warning shot." he said while showing an innocent face.

"Warning shot my ass." I said while showing a calm expression.

I then sprinted at the guy with a speed slower than my stat just to check how strong the guy really is.

Once I got close enough, I swinged my sword five times at a speed that will make people mistook me using five swords at the same time.

But just like last time my efforts were in vain. As my opponent blinked out of his spot.

"So, when are you going to use your ability?" he asked

"Did anybody ever tell you how annoying you are?" I answered

The guy then blinked out of his spot again ignoring my question. This time I didn't just stand there and do nothing. Even though I said I'll be using my top. I only used the one before my massive stat increase.

As soon as the guy blinked out of his place I blinked out of mine and using my real top speed I blinked behind him and swinged my sword down at him. I could clearly see the look of shook behind his helmet, but it didn't last long I could see that he was trying his upmost best to dodge my attack, but he couldn't dodge my attack completely and I my strike went to his left arm leaving a big mark on it. The guy didn't scream but let out a small grunt from the pain.

That wasn't it for some reason I felt something unlock inside of me and I also felt a huge sense of relief for some reason I ignored that feeling and looked at my opponent who was holding a small red potion. I blinked in front of him and took the bottle and put it inside my ring. I could fell that my opponent was dumbfounded by my move, but I cleared the confusion.

"You'll have it back once the round is over."

And I just slashed my sword at his chest in a way that my slash won't be that lethal for him. Once I slashed him in the chest I aimed for his left arm and made many small cuts on it once I made a hundred small cuts on his left arm, I used the back of my sword to hit the guy from the back of his neck and knock him out and I just did all of that in five seconds.

I looked at the timer and saw that there was only 20 seconds left before the end of the round and me getting my other rewards. When I was thinking about the rewards suddenly the same feeling that I felt when I slashed my opponents left arm came back but it was stronger than ever and in a painful way I crouched and started to breath heavily trying to catch some air, but the feeling of relief kept getting stronger and stronger I looked at the timer one last time and saw that there was only five seconds left so I tried to hold till the timer runs out.

I sighed in relief that I got the rewards I didn't know what would happen if I went unconscious before the end of the match maybe it will count us my loss and I will lose all the rewards.

Now I don't have any regrets and let the feeling take over my mind which made me fall unconscious.

Sergeant Leon pov:

I was happy the first round of the training was over everyone was doing their absolute best today but then I saw one of the staffs pointing to the other staffs to one of the channels and was calling the healers over his radio for some reason.

I looked at the channel that the staff was pointing at, and I was shocked to Astin fighting Leo. Leo is one of the most talented people from his organization when it came to using the lightning ability and that Leo was fighting Astin even though Astin had that peak grade armor which I have questions about how he acquired it, but it won't be enough to defeat Leo but the scene in front of me are telling me otherwise. Both Astin and Leo and for some reason Leo looks more injured that Astin other than Astin's burnt arm he looks fine but for some reason he is unconscious, but Leo's condition is worse there are many slashes on his left arm and there is even one deadly slash that could've cut his arm off. If that happen and he loses his arm, we will be at war with his organization

I left the control room and sprinted towards the arena if I don't save them both I will have to face the wrath of two monarchs which I would pretty much would like to avoid.

once I arrived in the arena, I told the once in charge there to teleport me to area that Leo and Astin was fighting, they were asking me questions here and there, but I just glared at them which made them go quite till we arrived and once I did, I took two peak grade healing potions which in some people's eyes is very expensive but, in my eyes, it's worth nothing if it means saving my life and there's. I went to Leo first and poured the potion into his mouth and once I looked at his left arm, I saw most of the slash's marks go away.

once I saw his condition getting better, I went to Astin and checked if he was ok but other than his left arm, he didn't have any kind of injury but for some reason he was breathing heavily. maybe it was some kind of sickness? but from what I remember mutated humans doesn't get sick. So, the question was what happened to Astin?

I didn't think about that much and started to pour the healing potion into Astin mouth and looked at his burnt and it was getting better but Astin wasn't his breathing got even heavier. I picked him up and ordered the once that teleported me here to take care of Leo

I took Astin and went to the hospital and asked for a healer to take care of him. Now all I have to do is check the tap for his and Leo's fight and gather all the information I can get my hands on.
