Three DNA syringe.

Ever since the fight started, all core member of the chaotic zombie horde has been getting themselves busy, starting with Peter, Nate, Lynn and the rest, even Dike has just undergone a tough battle that in the end warranted him to the second zombie evolution.

However, there is one person that has not done anything yet and that is none other than Lyon. Practically, he was sitting with crossed legs in the middle of the fight while trying to analyze the few things that has just popped out in his interface. He wasn't alone though, Tony and a few more people with some power that links to alternate were standing beside him, looking at how they stood, it was clear they were told to guard him.

Meanwhile after a few moments of feeling pain all over his body, thankfully, Lynn was absorbing it, regardless, a notification suddenly popped into Lyons sight.

[Congratulations, you are now in the second stage of altered evolution]

For a long time now, the others have been evolving, breakthrough levels, however, ever since Lyon went through his first evolution process after meeting Nate, he was finding it hard to move to the next level. Not that he hasn't gotten stronger for the prior months, rather he was way stronger than he was when they visited Halloween Town, but for the fact that others were getting levelling up and yet he was stuck in one stage since, it was disturbing and had made a report to Nate.

Of course, Nate has no idea why this was happening and has to direct Lyon to meet Mark. After running a few tests on Lyon Mark seems to have come up with an ideal theory that might have been the case.

Mark had stated that the reason Lyon was not evolving to the next stage was that he already has too much beast DNA in him and for him to level up, he need to put a stop to taking in more DNA and focus on the ones he already has.

What does this mean? It means that over six beasts have DNA Lyon in their body, he needs to get each one of them to level up before his body could go along.

This was so much work and he started putting all his beast form into the fight, manipulating his forms in a way that kind of seems impossible to do, however, he was doing it. It did not just end with him fighting, he was also absorbing more beast crystal and eventually, his hard work paid off and it was time for him to check what he got.

To say the least, having access to the system has made things a lot easier for Lyon, usually, after an evolution is over, they will go to Nate to explain what they are and what they can do, but now that they have the system, it was now simple to get the information without disturbing Nate.

Lyon clicked the first syringe icon and its information was displayed.

[DNA copy syringe = This syringe is used in copying a beast's DNA whether they are alive all dead, all that is required is to inject the syringe into the beast's body and the DNA will be extracted.

Note ÷ This also works on altered human beings and it copies all the attributes of the beast its DNA is copied]

The syringe was meant to copy a beast's DNA without Lyon needing to take the crystal. Of course, it was a piece of great news to hear since all the beasts he will be killed in the future will be used in making weapons or even absorbing them.

[DNA Draining syringe = this syringe drains the DNA of an altered human being. When draining a hundred percent of its DNA, the altered human won't be able to use its power anymore.

Note ÷ Not draining a hundred percent of the DNA, the altered human being will still be able to use its power, but not to its full potential]

Once again, Lyon was getting something cool from the system, he couldn't think of how much fear would be cast on an altered human if he or she was to hear of the power he has, however, Lyon know the best that he does not need to make this one power public knowing. With that thought in mind, Lyon moved to the next syringe.

[DNA injecting syringe = This syringe allows you to inject a DNA of your choice, either the ones you already have or the ones you drained out from an altered human.

Note ÷ This only works on those without any superhuman power or to those you drained their DNA. Mind you, any DNA that was injected out either the one you are using or the ones drained will no longer be able to use.]

In short, the last syringe was one he can use to make people into altered humans, this of course only works on normal people or people he drained their power from. Lyon couldn't have asked for more from the system, all that he has now was just enough for him to change the tide of the battle, that is if it was needed because, from the looks of things, they are the ones killing and any attempt from the enemies to kill them grants them more power instead.

Regardless, Lyon still needs to test the syringes out first before thinking of entering the battlefield.

He opened his eyes and looked at Tony. "I need to test something on you," he said and before Tony could even reply, a very small syringe that measures 2ml shot out from Lyons left palm and stabbed Tony on his nape.

He felt a slight sensation on his nape but it was just for a slight moment before the syringe was plugged out.

Without Lyon even controlling it, the syringe on its own went and stabbed Lyon in his back and injected what it sucked out from Tony's body.

There and then, Lyons body starts to change into what Tony knows best as his altered form but he was left confused as to how Lyon was able to do that, the only difference in Lyons appearance to Tony's reptilian form was Lyons red skin colour, aside from that, any other thing was the same.

'This would be best if I use it on a beast stronger than me, since Tony was still not as strong as I am, I won't be needing this, ' Lyon thought and shot another syringe into Tony's body and gave back the DNA he copied and by doing so, his body reverted to its human form.

One thing was clearly stated in the description of the syringes, any beast or altered human Lyon copies their DNA, he is also coping with the level of their attributes such as strength, agility, intelligence and even stamina. With this type of function, Lyon knows coping with the DNA of beasts or altered humans that is stronger than him is the best choice he would make and Tony's DNA wasn't the ideal thing for him considering their level difference.

Lyon was about to get up when two people suddenly landed in front of them.

It was two men that obviously were working for the matrix based on the ring on their finger and as soon as they landed, the two bodies started to change.

One was changing into an anaconda snake while the other was turning into a white gigantic eagle. The two rushed towards them.

'Just when I'm looking for a worthy opponent and you two just came, ' Lyon thought with a smile and started changing his body form.
