It was obvious that Rico didn't want his altered back, however, Nate and his horde have a great plan in mind.

Nate was wondering if he can cure the halflings, then he might as well add them to his pledge members to increase the amount of experience points he gets every day.

It has been roughly a day since they arrived at the forever winter land, and the normal experience point he gets every day was no longer able to level him up. Nate knows that he has to do something about this.

Aside from that, levelling up was not the only benefit for Nate if he was to get the halflings to join his horde. With them, he hopes to form a great ally to fight against Ozzie if possible.

Nate also hates the fact that he was using the same method Ozzie used in getting the zombies to his side. Ozzie had offered to turn the low intelligent zombie into high-intelligence zombies and this has made a large number of zombies go over his side.

Regardless, Nate know that this was the only possible way he could use it. If Ozzie could make a low-intelligence zombie into a high intelligent zombie, then Nate will have to go for the halflings.

When the last drop of the DNA serum have been injected into Rico's body, the little boy started to shake violently. His eyes turn white.

However, it did not last long as it all stopped. Surprisingly, Rico didn't pass out during the transmission nor did he return to his halfling form.

"Did it work...!" he asked afraid of inspecting himself.

However, he didn't get any response so Mark quickly checked up on him. "He will be okay...the only problem is that he will have to learn how to alter by himself," Mark announced.

This was what Nate wanted to hear. With this, he was now sure that the Lyons DNA syringe can cure the halfling evolution.

"We must not make this known yet, and as for you... You will be joining our horde," Nate said to Rico.

Since the little boy have known too much, Nate was not going to let him out.

Rico in the end has no choice, after all, he was following Peter's ways and since Peter was with Nate, he didn't mind being with them.

The pledge ritual was quickly done and Rico was now a member of Nate's pledge horde.

With that aside, Rico was led ut to start his transformation training with Lyon.

Meanwhile, as they were through with that, Nate and Mark now focused on Ruby who was brought by Peter.

The latter stated he turned her by mistake and was now hoping she could be made an intelligent zombie.

Mark quickly got the types of equipment ready, before Nate quickly started the process. Nate didn't bother playing around and directly dealt with the virus consciousness.

With that, Ruby's consciousness was restored and the first thing she did was to walk up to Peter and wark a slap across Peter's face.

Nate and Mark even have to close their eyes at this and were afraid of what Peter would do, but he only smiled while rubbing his dead.

"I think I should say sorry then," Peter said a little bit embarrassed.

"Do you even know what you just did to me... I will be stuck like this, eating human flesh...!" Ruby shouted. If possible, she would have been tearing up right now.

After that, she left the room not bothering to spare a glance at Nate and Mark.

"I don't know how to put this...but is she your girlfriend?" Nate asked.

Peter heard his frown at Nate before rushing out of the lab. Not getting any reply from Peter, Nate shrugged his shoulder before looking at Mark.

"What do you think... It seems like that Ozzie guy is the one sponsoring general goo back then and most likely the one behind the creation of that 'EEG' device," Nate said.

"I was thinking the same thing... If truly he is the one, then we have a lot of work and research to do," Mark replied.

It was not a coincidence that Ozzie is a wight zombie and yet knows how to turn a crazy zombie into a sane one.

Ever since Nate got this information, he has been thinking about the possibility that Ozzie was a different person from the one sponsoring general goo, but after much thought, he still came back to one conclusion and that was, general Goo's backer was none other than Ozzie.

The fact alone that the files in general goo's office said that his backer was from Forever winters island was already enough for Nate to link it all to one person.

However, one question remains in Nate's mind and that was why Ozzie would need a human to be shipped to him.

"To turn them of course.." Mark answered when Nate asked him what he thought.

"Since his goal was to make everyone a zombie, then he will start turning people into one, whether they are intelligence or not, am sure he doesn't care since he can fix things himself," Mark explained.

Nate know this was the only possible reason he wanted the humans. There is also an option of him wanting them as a source of food.

"Well... I should get stronger because am having a bad feeling about what is about to happen," Nate states before exiting the room.

Speaking of getting stronger, Nate knows he wouldn't have to rely on his daily experience points anymore and will have to hustle for it. He had a plan for that.

Meanwhile, in the middle of the ocean, it happens to be raining cat and dog. because of this, a large storm was occurring at this moment.

Regardless of the weather, two cargo curse ships, on one of the ships lay a gigantic meteorite rock it was glowing purple slightly while on the second ship where the people captured were kept and was also the place the matrix was.

As the storm was serious, all the guard stationed on the ship was too busy while unknown to them, three figures that were meant to be locked up in one of the ship rooms were moving around.

This was none other than the matrix, although this was not them in particular rather the few guards that they have managed to capture and wear the ring on him.

"The plan is as always ... Get as many as you can to wear these rings," Mia instructed the ten guards that he just met up with.

After he was done talking, he then went ahead to ask a series of questions to the man.

"We are about a couple of weeks away from the final destination," one of the guards reported.

Mia nod his head and with that information, he was off back to his cell.

On entering the cell, he noticed that the others were not yet back. It was clearly empty. "well... At least I am done with my job," Mia thought.

However, just then, the door behind him was opened and walking into the cell was someone he never expected to see.

"You...what are you doing here..?!" Mia asked in shock.

"Knock it off, young man... I ran into a few problems and decided to head here and see how far you guys have gone into the mission," the person that walked into the room said.

It was an old man in a black robe that has the zombie hunter written on it. If Nate was here, he could have recognized this person as the man that attacked him back at Bull base.

Meanwhile, Mia's mind was running crazy as he wondered why the person before him will visit and the person he first ran into was him.
