Nate had gone directly to Peter to check out the latter's condition.

While fighting, the system notified him of Peter's health decrease.

This had left Nate in shock, for a moment, not that he was surprised that Peter was injured after facing the beast, even though he could not stand up to the beast's strike.

but because somehow, he was able to view Peter's health condition.

Nate felt bad because seeing his health bar full while Peter's own was on a fifty-fifty level, it kind of felt like he was not taken care of by his only brother who in a way is now fully his responsibility to take care of.

But that did not make Nate not wonder why, he now has a health bar on his status.

'I thought as a zombie, I will not have to worry about my health now ' Nate was kind of angry.

He was not expecting such a turn of events, he had been fantasizing about how he would be reckless with his health and can now not even worry about what he eats, even though he practically has one type of meal he can eat.

But he does not need to think much about the case, because the system soon provided him with an explanation.

[Host should not be confused by the HP meaning. It only measures the amount of damage the host can take, and when it reaches the lowest percentage, the host or the horde member will go crazy in search of food, They will regain their sane once they consume human flesh]

'Wow.. there is even a price to pay for that also' Nate found this more interesting, because of the challenges.

Thankfully, with the help of the system explanation, Nate was able to understand the meaning behind the sudden health bar.

And he was finding it more fun.

It is said that the more the challenge in a game, the more it gets interesting, especially when you improve after the challenge.

'I feel bad for those gamers that usually cheat, they don't know what they are missing ' Nate thought.

Nate believes that anyone that uses cheats in a game, was missing a lot.

In a way, Nate is right. but what he does not know is that unlike him who could play the particular game over and over again, some people do not have that type of time. 

What usually prompts people to use cheats is just the inability to try something out again and again.

At a point in a game, one would meet a challenge that is way greater than him, and after trying to overcome this challenge and always ending up failing, this might make those who still find the game interesting use the cheat, and some might even delete the game from their system or whatever.

With that out, Nate was ready to check out his reward.

Of all the messages that Nate had seen, the only one that courted his interest was the inventory. Even the fact that he was now at level four did not interest.

Without any explanation, Nate already knows what the skill was meant for.

This was something common in a game. especially a survival game.

Soon, Nate was ready to get to the next item, but it was then that he heard a slight movement in the air.

This made him alert, but before he could command Peter to stay in defense mode, Nate noticed a spear coming their way, and not only just away but directly toward Peter.

Nate knew that it was useless for him to complete the command, and that's why he stepped right in between the spear and Peter.

"Who dares to try hurting my brother!" Nate shouted out.

Right then, he saw a shadow from the distance.

"Are you mad Nate, that's a zombie behind you"
