11 Battling the Blood.

For some reason, after seeing the beast in front of him, Nate was not feeling good about it.

It is true that a few minutes ago, he had a period for a worthy opponent to show up, but the rad dog standing in front of him was giving off a strange vibe that was not sitting well with Nate. 

He wasn't even given the chance to process the notification when he saw something coming toward him at a speed beyond his eyesight.

The next instant, the dog dashed out toward Nate, at a speed that Nate never expected from the dog.

In an instant, the dog curved a distance of fifteen meters away from Nate just in a second.

Nate was blown out to the distance, by the dog slamming its head on Nate's chest.

Nate wanted to twist his back to spin around in a back flip, but he soon noticed that he could not move his spin.

"Shirt..use it already" Nate panicked, because right behind him, the dog was coming at him again, and Nate of all people, knew that this might be his end.

Just then after using twenty percent of his energy to heal himself, though he was not fully healed yet, at least it was enough for him to roll on the ground quickly after landing on his two feet.

That instant, Nate unleashed his knives, as he threw them at the dog.

But I wasn't able to go through the dog's fur.

Due to the speed at which it was traveling, the dog was not able to stop itself from crashing into the car right behind Nate's back.

bang...!

The head of the dog was sucked inside the car.

Nate took this opportunity to process the notification from earlier.

Even after reading out the notification, it was not ringing many bells in Nate's ear.

As for the surviving side. He understands that part because it was a quest someone playing any apocalypse game would know and remember. Nate had played a few games that had given him such a quest.

The problem comes from the rewards part which starts.

'It depends on how I survive, so if I outrun the dog then I can still get some rewards' Nate thought, but he knew that there was no way he could outrun the dog.

'If I'm going to choose running, then now is the perfect time to run.' Nate thought looking at the dog that was still struggling to get out of the place he was stuck in.

But Nate could not help thinking about what he would get in return after defeating the dog in a fight.

He couldn't help but feel a shiver running down his spine in joy.

Nate clenched the knives as he thought.

'I hope not running away is a good idea.'

Soon, the dog finally freed itself from the bondage he found itself in after trying to slam into the little guy.

Nate called out in his mind.

The dog dashed out toward Nate again. this time even slightly faster than before.

but, unfortunately, Nate was already expecting this as he leapt into the sky, just when the dog was a meter away from him.

The dog missed him by a near miss. 

Soon Nate realized the mistake he just made.

By jumping up, Nate created a clear path for the dog to head for Peter.

Seeing this, Nate panicked and threw out one of the knives at the dog.

This time, he pushed the knife so hard that the knife went deep into the dog's body from its back. 

At the same time, Nate yanked at the wire that the knife was connected to.

He waved it in a coil spring shape, wrapping the wire around the dog's neck, and pulled.

In teams of strength, Nate does not get between himself and the dog who has a greater one, but soon he finds out, that's because the dog keeps pushing forward with speed as if he had not been dragged by someone.

Nate has no other choice than to leave Peter's fate in his own hands.

On getting the order, Peter crossed the ax in front of him, just in time before the dog could bite down on him. though he was pushed a few inches back. but in the end, he was fine.

Seeing this, gave Nate a huge hope.

Peter swung the ax horizontally and vertically across the dog's face, causing a stream of blood to spill out from the dog's face.

Another deadly blow was delivered to the dog.

but this did not in any way help out, instead, it made the matter worse.

The dog became more aggressive, as it chased after Peter.

Seeing this, Nate yanked hard on the wire, to pull the dog backwards

But how can he, when he was not able to stop the dog when it was fierce , have not reached this level? How will he stop the dog now of all time?

but Nate still has a few tricks to pull.

Using one of the knives to wrap around the dog's leg, Nate sent a knife at the wall beside him and wrapped the wire around his waist.

This had put the dog in a restricted motion.

Nate uses this opportunity to other, Peter to strike the dog again.

After swinging the ax a few times at the dog's face, the dog seems to have reached its limit, as he pushes himself out of Nate's grip and runs towards Peter to finish him off.

At this point, the dog knew that it was his end but he was not willing to die alone as he was planning to talk among Nate and Peter alone.

Seeing this though, Nate took advantage of the force that the dog used to break free from his wire and leapt upwards, just in time for him to spine his body around in the middle air before throwing out the only knife remaining at the dog, right on the spot he threw the previous knife.

Splash.....!

The knife went deep enough that it came out from the other side of the dog's body.
