In a dimly light room, one could see five teenage boys that look the same except for their hair colour, these teenage boys are the five matrices which consist of Mia, Kai, Red, Purple, and Green.

At this moment, Mia was throwing every single material inside the room around, messing it up as he vents his anger at them.

"How can we lose the such opportunity, how? I was about to wear those rings to him if only you did not stop me we wouldn't have lost such treasure," Mia shouted pointing all the blames at Kai.

The reason he was angry is because of Sin. He was about to put one of the rings that was made with his blood on Sin's finger but was stopped by Kai who claimed that he should be the one taking Sin, however, when he was about to do so, things turned into something else.

Sin suddenly burst out with power surging out from him that was enough to kill Kai with one punch, all thanks to their reincarnation ability, if not Kai would have not been sitting in their midst.

Meanwhile, Kai knows that it was his fault, if he had allowed Mia to do his thing, then such a condition of him dying, or even Sin running away would have never occurred.

Just then, the door was opened, and Batt accompanied by TNT walked into the room. TNT's face was as bad as before, even though the matrix power grants them a resilient power, but not a healing power so his face was still damaged.

Not long after they entered, Rone the only surviving scientist of the base walked in also with a worried face.

"What have you brought? better tell me it's a piece of good news," Mia said but what he wanted never came.

"We are yet to find him nor the creature that took him, maybe the creature has used him as food," Batt said.

"What, don't you guys get it, the furred creature did not even bother to attack anyone else and went directly for Sin, I don't think that was a predator hunting prey, just get out and keep looking, we need Sin's strength in the upcoming war," Mia commanded the two and they went off to carry out the task.

Meanwhile, all focus was now on Rone who appeared in the room after the other two came. "And what do you want?" It was Green that was asking the question, so far, he had learned how to talk more often than before.

"The base system data, I think someone tampered with it, most of the pieces of information have been wiped out," Rone said as he brought a tablet closer to Green who took it and started reading the contents.

"Those the lab has camera footage?" Green asked.

"Yes, Sin usually uses them to watch over what we are doing, they should be located in Sin's room,"

After Rone said that, the five matrices started heading for the room and soon, they were there now looking at the footage of the camera.

It was talking time, but eventually, what they were looking for was displayed as a man who was also dressed in white rob entered the lab and started taking something both from the test tube and the computer in the room, from the looks of it, it was as if he already knows where the things he was looking for where after a short time, two men also entered the room, they watched as they tried to attack the man at first but the blade just pass through the man like he was just a hologram figure.

Of course, they were not able to hear what the men were discussing, but after some time of pausing and playing to read their lips, Green was able to gut down what they were saying.

After that, they have to start all afresh to get a clear picture of what they were saying, after this, the five matrices were shocked.

"Now I see, so they were the ones that connive and saved Sin," Mia muttered but Kai's face kept on frowning."It doesn't make sense," he said making everyone look at him. "I know those two, they are among the top leaders, but that guy is a total stranger, I haven't seen him before, and by the way, the creature that saved Sin is most likely to be a superhuman with an altered power, but those two were not superhuman's, I'm sure about that," Kai said reading more question and confusion.

"He is not a stranger," Rone said. "He is one a scientist like us, one of the greatest scientists that has ever worked for Sin but at some point, he had a problem with Sin that he was nearly killed but had managed to escape, but what I don't understand is why he will want to save someone that ones wanted to kill him," Rone explained.

Judging from the way it sounds, it was something that happened way before Kai joined the base that's why he never knew of it. Anyhow, if what Rone said was true and the man was a great scientist, there is a great chance that he might help Sin in striking back and this was something that was bothering them, when thinking of this, Mia once again was throwing all the blames at Kai.

"I don't think blaming ourselves will help solve this problem, if Sin might one day come back, then we have to get stronger and prepare, and by the way, we won't be in this world again if we complete our goal faster," Green advised.

Regardless of his words, the others were kind of still afraid. Sin is a deadly man, they were even able to defeat him today because they were already a step ahead of him and he never knew that some of his trusted men were no longer with him.

If it was on a normal day when every single man from his base was standing by his side, then they would not even be a single one of them standing by now, but now that he knows what they are capable of, he will be preparing something greater than that.

Always thinking of this sent a shiver down Mia's spine. However, every problem has a solution. If they were able to get rid of Nate before Sin returned, then it will be for their good since they will disappear from the world they were currently on.

With those thoughts in mind, Mia walked up to a cage that has three birds inside, the birds were the size of an eagle, this was Sin's pet and Mia is about to do something he has no idea whether it will even work.

He reach out inside and took one while forcing a ring into the bird's leg. The ring was a bit baggy on the bird's feet, however, it suddenly closed open till it was tight on the bird's feet and at the same time, Mia felt a connection with the bird.

"This will make it a lot easier to find Nate," he said as he released all three birds with a ring on their feet.

The bird fly into the city even though it was still raining, they were looking for someone.

Meanwhile, after slaughtering over a thousand spider beasts, Nate was standing on top of their bodies that have grown on a hill, he had his eyes closed as he takes in the rain, and just then a system notification appeared.

[System upgrade completed]

[New changes have occurred in the system]

[Horde members will now wake up]

"Finally," as Nate said this, the rain stopped as the sun emerged from the dark clouds blighting everywhere.
