AFFIRMATIONS

Astrea woke up to the sound of her alarm,she basically flew out of bed on realization that today was the day she was supposed to meet Ezra's mother.

She got out of bed and grabbed her phone from her bedside table and made her way to her bathroom where she started blasting the most random songs,from the most random genres. She brushed her teeth and got Inside the shower,once she got out she put on her robe and went to look for a church outfit,she decided on a long pink flower skirt and pink top with it,she got dressed and wore a pair of pink sneakers and tied her hair in a bun,wore her rosary and made her way downstairs where her dad and her siblings where waiting , with her dad sitting on the couch and her siblings sitting down at the dining table, playing with toys.

"Good morning dad", Astrea greeted her father and looked around,"where's mum?" she asked still looking around for her mother.

"She's still getting ready, could you go get your mother, we're going to be late for Christ's sake... literally",her dad said,the last line making Astrea laugh out loud,she then made her way upstairs to get her mum.

She got infront of her parents room and opened the door,she got in and saw her mother in a robe with multiple dresses looking lost.

She sat on the bed and greeted her mother,"Good morning, mum ", Astrea said trying not to laugh at her mother's confused look.

"Good morning sweetie",Her mother said sounding frustrated while looking like how she sounded, Astrea got up and took the dresses from her having a very strong feeling that if they remained in her hand any longer she would see them on the floor.

She looked at all dresses and pulled out a simple yet elegant pink dress while putting away the other dresses,"Why don't you wear this?, it's pretty plus we can match ", Astrea said hoping her mother wouldn't make them look through more dresses, and her prayers were answered when her mother went to go and put on the dress ,her mom came back out and Astrea smiled gesturing for her mom to seat at her vanity. She then started curling her mother's hair and once she was done she said under her breath "perfect", but it didn't go unheard by her mother who said "Thank you honey",her mother said smiling extremely wide.

"Anyways let's get downstairs or we will be late ", Astrea said making her mother nod and they both made they're way down the stairs.

Once they got downstairs her dad was about to say something but then he saw her mother coming behind her and he was speechless, which was the same everytime he looked at her,he made it seem as if everytime they he looked at her he fell in love with her over and over again.

"Let's go ",her dad said linking her mom's hand with his and they all made they're way outside, her dad opened the door for her mum and Astrea opened the door for her siblings,got them all seated,put on their seat belt and the got in herself.

On their way to church Astrea texted Ezra,'Good morning Ezra',She texted,'I hope you have a good day and I can't wait to see you ',She texted again and was ready to put of her phone but Ezra suddenly replied,'Good morning love, Thank you and I can't wait to see you either ',this text made Astrea's smile, making her mother look at her,"What's got you smiling?",her mom asked looking at her through the mirror,"Nothing", Astrea said nodding her head and her mum just smiled knowingly to her and kept looking ahead.

They got to church,parked their car and made their way inside after everybody was settled the Reverend Father began to preach, and it went on like that except for offerings in the middle.

Church ended at one thirty and her and her family made their way out of church and into their car and made their way back home, they got home a couple minutes to Two Pm and as Astrea got down from the car and her phone started ringing,"Hey Ezra ", Astrea said ,"Hey Astrea",Ezra said on the other end of the phone.

"Are you home,yet?",Ezra asked ,"Yeah we just got home ", Astrea said making her way upstairs to her room and opening the door.

"Great, I'll see you by seven then", Ezra said,"Okay ,See you by seven bye Ezra", Astrea said merrily, "Bye Astrea ",Ezra said and they both hung up.

Astrea sat on her bed and took of her sneakers putting them aside then she changed Into a pair of shorts and a tee shirt ,then she went to her bathroom mirror and started giving herself affirmations ,"I am gorgeous, I am smart,I am charismatic,Who wouldn't love me ",She said and then blew herself a kiss then went to find a way to style her , she thanked the creators of the internet for making it easier to look for ways to style you hair,she went online and looked at different hairstyles and finally found one that she liked,once she was done with that she went to eat because food was important a d she didn't eat breakfast, she went downstairs and made hamburgers for her and her siblings because she knew that she couldn't make anything for herself without her siblings breathing down her neck or asking for some.

She made the hamburgers and called her siblings down to give them each a burger,"Sean,Iris come downstairs please ", She Called and they came running down,she gave each of them a burger and took two to eat on the couch. Once she was. done eating she washed the dishes she used and made her way upstairs it was already four thirty and she was shocked at how fast time passed by, maybe it was because she opened a novel reading app for thirty minutes,but she wasn't going to admit that it was because of her obsession with online books ... especially fantasy novels.

She went into the shower and took a warm bath ,washed her hair, exfoliated, and out on a face mask. Next on her agenda was to dry and style her hair.

Author's note: Sorry for not updating, I have exams basically every two weeks and I can't afford to flunk them,I will try and update as frequently as I can and by the way I love everyone reading this.
