Her eyes seemed to linger on the nickname she was given from a young age, "Star" she said her voice heavy with regret, she was given this nickname cause her family had hoped her to be a rising star with her singing but alas due to constant bullying and hiding away in books and spending time fighting punching bags she hadn't thought about her nickname nor singing since she was 13.

Sigh 'over thinking won't due me any good, at least I seem decent despite keeping to myself, how many years wasted spent with 'her' well whatever, it's a respawn for a reason, a start to something better!'

As she went through her to skills she wanted to try out traveling to another world but held off, 'let's see what skills I am allowed to get first'

She went into deep contemplative thoughts trying to think about would help, after a bit she sighed out, 'I wish for the skill adaptability'

She watched as a golden glow started shifting around infront of her, bright but not blinding, she soon started to notice something taking shape and as the glow started to brighten a bell similar to a deskmans bell dinged and a book dropped in her hands which made her eyes widen then furrow.

'Am I supposed to...read it? I mean I guess that's understandable but wheres the flair, I thought it'd be like a skill book...oh wait!'

She then held it her chest and soon enough it glowed and dissipated into particles that entered her body.

Ding! [Congratulations, innate skill gained adaptability]

[Adaptability: anything seen, heard, read, learned will become ingrained in hosts mind, perfectly memorized. Seeing someone do something like Karate will instantly become a skill, the more the host learns about skills gained the higher the level and the better the skills become]

Star's eyes widened, the skill was far more useful then she had thought, which then begged the question, 'if it's this good why did it fall under the basic category? Maybe the world I unlocked it's like a skill most people have? Aaarrhhhh its no use thinking about it if I'm just gonna hurt my brain with the possibilities'

She looked more into the world that she unlocked.

[Fantasy World: world of dragons, magic, hydras, and legend of old and young! When in this world, Native world's time is frozen and host will return like no time passed]

Star smirked as she read the skill, then a question popped in her mind, 'if the first message was the last thing from the system, where did this come from? Possibly a innate ability of the system? Either way I wonder what worlds I can travel into later. For now, i think it's time for a bit of magic gathering, hmm maybe I should get an active skill before that though? Right 10 minutes to kill, sigh bath and food it is I guess'

As she got busy with preparing a bath a man was meeting with a young woman in what appeared to be a bright golden sky.

"How is she doing? Did she like the skill? I didn't want to give her anything to overpowered to begin with so I figured I'd help her get started"

The woman nodded, "She seems to like it, and she's smart, instead of using it she wanted to get a active skill first. You know for her being you're sister she doesn't act like you"

The man chuckled albeit a bit solemnly

"Right, she does have the similar qualities, silver eyes, blood red hair, pale skill as if she had no life coursing through. Though I guess she took after her mother, I don't blame her mother for getting with my father but it couldn't have hurt him to just stay on track and now look, kicked out of heaven and a shell of power he once had. Though I gotta admit he surprised everyone by doing well, he makes good money and has an amazing family. Look I know you're her administrator for the system and not allowed to interfere much but just...help her? She has the Angel bloodline but it's as if the system doesn't even detect it. Although I see that you tried to trigger something by saying that at the end of the greetings"

The woman got up and stood infront of him with a stern face, then she softened it and put her arms around his neck.

"Gabriel, husband, you know me, I once was the administrator for 10 system wielders at once, I think I can help you're sister. By the way what's with you're dad calling her Star?"

"Star, short got Starshine, was gonna be the best angel among us standing atop with God as his right hand and leading the human realm from the ruin coming in 20 years time. Thinking about it though does make me laugh, the humans have twisted it as if god was our creator, in a sense they aren't wrong but he wasn't our dad or something like that, we have fathers and mothers just like any human, we just have...abilites"

The woman laughed, "Riiiight like these wings and the power to destroy a continent? Anyway, she's about to do some crazy shit so let's watch her reactions to the new world!"

After all this they watched as the camera zoomed back in to Star sitting on her bed with a outfit consisting of a shirt, hoodie, pants, and the essentials. The camera, if it can be called that, had panned away to give her privacy.

"Okay, considering where I'm going I need a strong but good skill, I hope this works, okay, i wish for a lighting skill that can chain to enemies and has a 50% chance to stun and it uses 1 MP per second"

After a few seconds of nothing happening she started to furrow her brows, then a golden light appeared like the first time. After a few minutes a book dropped onto the bed and without delay she held it to her chest and the same scene happened of it turning into golden particles and intering her body.

[(Uncommon)Lighting Chain Lvl 1/10: User casts lighting from their hands that attacks enemies for 25 HP per second with a 50% chance to cause stun, enemies stunned receive 25 more damage, stun blasts for 1 minute. Uses 1 MP per second]

A huge grin spread across her face and she was sure of one thing, 'someone is definitely rigging this a little bit to help me this early. But they means this gifting won't last, okay well with my skill in play I think its time'

Getting up she put on boots and said in a low voice, "Travel, Fantasy" in Hope's it'd work, and to her suprise a bright golden portal slowly formed infront of her, when the portal was finished she jumped through without hesitation.

Chapter 2 done!

How was it?

To much reading?

Not much reading?

Should I try to write longer chapters?

She will probably be in this world for a good 3-5 chapters getting stronger, but it might be easier then many think, but that's for next chapter!
