A once hustling bustling Street, filled with cheerful noises and happy faces of people, had turned into a dark and fearful street in just a matter of some seconds.
The voices filled with terror and fear started to ring in the atmosphere. It was the moment when the people on the street were running without a clue, only to save their lives, it was the scene that even God would pity.
The street once filled with stuff and people, was now filled with dark red blood and the dead bodies of the people. Everyone was running in terror as the whole Street was filled with a low-class hybrid of the Wolf shapeshifter, a race that was alive only to tear and shred humankind of their existence, with desire filled with murderous aura.
"Run... run everyone." The men screamed at the top of their lungs when they saw the werewolf curating through the people one by one hastily, it was hard to even scream or talk in that situation but people still couldn't help but scream, only in the desire that someone would come to help them.
The street once more started to fill with anguished screams and terror. The scary and furry werewolf with the head of a wolf and the body of a human was merging inside deeper and deeper, sowing fear in the hearts of humans.
" Ahhhh....."
"Help... help!" The people screaming through their lungs but no God was there to help them.
the voices of shapeshifters' howling and the screams of people asking for help started to decrease second by second...
It was the place where the existence of werewolf or any shapeshifter couldn't be seen and was protected for decades and centuries, but just in the heat of the moment, the village was ruined and all the people were killed by the horrified beasts in the form of werewolf.
( Somewhere in the forest...)
Guards rush inside the institutions with speed, their expressions are grave and bone-chilling.
"Professor Jack... Professor Jack." The guard stopped by the class full of adults when he saw the old adult in his 50s.
Professor Jack, who was teaching the students, lifted his head and turned on the side of the door when he saw two bodyguards rush into the class without any prior notice or warning.
"What happened for you to come running inside the class without notifying anyone? Do you have any idea what you have done?" Professor Jack's voice was filled with anger and annoyance as he talked to them.
The guards who were once looking at him in the eyes, turned their face down as if scared of him.
"We asked for forgiveness, Professor Jack. But the situation in the Dan Village is very grave. We just got the news that werewolves have attacked the village in the middle of the night, the people...the people need our help." The guards talked fearlessly as this matter was important at the moment.
It was the news that could fill everyone with terror in their hearts and was enough to kill them without any tool or strategy.
Professor Jack frowns upon hearing the news. "The village has always been protected by the gods, how could there be the existence of the shapeshifter? Are you sure the news is valid and not forged?" Professor Jack couldn't just believe the empty words without any proof.
The Dan Village they were talking about, was the place where the Gods had placed their blessing, it was impossible to have the monsters roaming inside the village when the holy power had filled that entire place.
"We are not lying professor and there's no way the information is forged. At first, even we didn't believe it. Until...Until we got this." The guards extend their hands to show the letter and the proof of their truth.
The letter was written with blood, the blood was clear on the paper while an important jewel of God was placed inside the envelope. It was the proof that they needed the help of the werewolf slayer institution urgently.
Professor Jack's eyes turned wide open when he read the letter and saw the holy object of the Dan Village. He quickly turns to face his students.
"Everyone! This is the chance for you all to show your skills and prove your worth as a student of the Werewolf Slayer Institution. Get ready, we are all heading to the Dan Village in ten minutes." He commanded all his students in a rigid and strict voice.
His voice for some reason had the contempt, hatred, and anger hidden within.
"Yes! As you say." The students who were listening to him so attentively earlier turned even more obedient and like beastly having that hatred within their eyes.
"Return to your chamber and meet me outside the institution in ten minutes. Dismiss ", He dismissed everyone.
All the people from the class returned to their chamber upon the notification and got themselves ready for the fight.
One of them was Aranya as well, well hidden in the people, the Werewolf slayer she was. The fire and hatred to kill those beasts were engraved deep in her heart.
"The chance I was waiting for has arrived." She was waiting for this chance for a long time, a chance to go to the territory of the beast and slay them as revenge for her parents and brother.
All came out of the institution on the notice and were waiting for the teacher to command them ahead. After arriving at the werewolf slayer institution, it would be their first mission.
Aranya was a little late and encountered Professor Jack and Teacher Miar on the way, she bowed to them and continued to walk outside. However...
"Aranya, stop there." Teacher Miar called out for Aranya.
"Yes, miss Miar."
"We both thought about it and have decided that you are not coming with us." She gave out her decision like throwing something but those words cut through Aranya's heart.
Her eyes were wide open and questions filled her face, she was distrustful and felt like an outcast from the whole crowd. The chance she had been waiting for a long time, was getting thrown far away from her.
"W...why? why can't I come with you all? you... you know I was waiting for this chance forever." She was filled with anger and questions all along, not understanding the reason they were so against having her follow them.
"The reason is very simple Aranya. You... don't have the patience, you are impatient and hasty. You make decisions solely based on what your heart wants and always refuse to listen to your mind. If we are to let you go to the Dan Village, you will get killed easily despite your skills." Professor Jack's words were the truth, coming straight from his experience although he had managed her all along.
Aranya was bewildered, just how could her one weakness prove her worth so low? Had her skills and heart not been enough to make the decisions that she also needed the mind?
"I... I promise I will not do anything rash, I will listen to whatever you tell me. So please, bring me with you all." She was determined but Professor Jack and Miar knew her well...they were aware of her personality.
"You are not coming and that's decided, go back to the class and practice what we have learned today." Miar's voice was filled with harshness and strictness. She wasn't thinking of backing down in front of the little girl.
Aranya knew she couldn't convince the teachers, she had no choice but to back down, the face once filled with expectations and hope turned sloppy and hopeless. She had no choice but to return to her chamber.
She nodded her head and took her leave, she left towards her chamber.
"This child, she is not suitable for killing," Miar mumbled, her voice high enough to be heard by Professor Jack.
"Then....are you regretting taking her in?" He asked her even though he already knew the answer.
"That child is pure, and she has not been stained with bad blood yet. So it would be better to have her stay that way, 'cause I still can't forget the look she had in her eyes when I saved her ages ago in that wilderness." Miar remembered the time she had taken Aranya into the institutions because of the blazing fire she had in her eyes.
"We should leave. The people are waiting for us to save them," they both left.
Each and every person who lived in this institution was known to be the werewolf slayer and had killed at least one shapeshifter till now.
Except for Aranya, she had yet to kill anyone... her hands were still stainless and had no dirt.
Miar and Professor Jack took everyone and left the institution.
Miar and Professor Jack thought everything was settled but inside the institution...
"I won't stay behind looking Ike a damsel in distress that needs others to help her. I am sorry Professor, but I must slay at least one or two heads of werewolf with my own hands "
