Chapter 20 : Plotting against crown prince

" You mean to say, I am involving your child in adults matters? ", Rannon's voice turn cold with the every word he just spoke.

He was the crown prince of Romania Wanture, the person who's going to rule the whole country for a long time, how dare a small fry try to blame him for his sham, it was not in the limit.

Fixer was even more petrified seeing how angry he was, he at this point felt like bursting in tears and asking for mercy, but he couldn't do that. He was tied to the chair, both his legs and hand. His body was suffering from so much pain, he had even lost his senses and couldn't this straight anymore.

" N...no your Highness, I wasn't finding faults. I...I am just pleading. My sins are not worth to be forgiven, I deserve to die, your majesty. Please forgive this sinful subject ", Fixer started to apologise and asking for mercy for his little life, no matter what...get didn't wanted to die.

" forgive you? a sinful bastard ..", Rannon repeat after as he smirk devilishly, really had no intention of sparing his life after he would be done with the task he was taken here for.

" Go ahead. I will decide what to do after listening to you ", Rannon said tapping on the edge of the Chair.

Fixer gulp down his saliva and look here and there as he was preparing himself to say the truth.

" The personal maid of Baroness Falcon, Rita, came to me a month ago, proposing a big deal to me and even promise me that she will give me the money as long as I complete my mission ", Fixer didn't tell the details but just the rough plan taht who hired him for the task.

" In details, not a single detail should be miss ", Rannon speak on cold tone, making him shiver and warning to not make any mistakes ahead of the time.

" The maid of Baroness Falcon, she came and said that if...if I succeed to break into Dan Village and kill all the people within the night of full moon, all the anger and blame would fall on Crown prince Rannon. She had it all planned and sent someone in the Dan Village to take all the holy artifacts away to break open the charms and spells to let the werewolves army to get inside on the full moon night without any difficulty ", Fixer told everything he knew and heard from the far when he was going to talk with the Baroness Falcon about an important matter.

Hearing that, Rannon started to laugh devilishly. Maybe, he got what he was finding and looking for.

" Cain Kial, take the statement of this sinful bastard and ready the arrest warrant against Baroness Falcon ", Crown prince Rannon command in strict and cold tone, but that devilish smile didn't leave his face at all.

Now that Fixer had confess everything, it was time to take the action.

" Baron Falcon, you dare go against me. Now I will show you what is the punishment to go against the royal prince. If a person like you crawl on the luxury by dirty means. I...the future emperor should you your real place ", Rannon exit the prison. He was looking kind grim and smiling devilishly as if so many things were going on in his head.

Cain Kial lock Fixer in the prison and asked some of the low ranking official to treat his wound. He then return back.

This prison was made beneath the castel of Crown prince Rannon. Rannon was allowed to interfere between the official work of poison as he was granted this wish and please to do as he wanted. By there were some limitations too.

" Your Highness! what are you thinking? ", Cain Kial asked when he saw Crown prince Rannon sitting on the chair and looking out of the window.

Rannon's personality was twisted and he couldn't understand everytime what he was thinking. So asking him directly was the simplest thing to do.

" What do you think about barron Falcon and his official wife? ", Rannon asked randomly as he was in little deep thought.

Cain Kial was little taken aback when heard about his thought on the Baron and Baroness Falcon.

" I dare not to say anything rash, please forgive me ", Cain Kial refused politely as it was not his duty to talk bad about the members of this empire who's were on the great hight.

Rannon smile coldly for a second. " Speak freely, I won't punish you ", He said in honest tone and he was speaking the truth.

Cain Kial got little relief after hearing him say that he won't punish. It was a relief for him, because even if he was the knight if the crown prince, he can't speak ill about anyone.

" Baron may look dumb on outside or he seemed to behave that way but he ambitious. For past years I have seen behave quite smart and dumb and judging him my that behaviour didn't seemed right. But, we can't ignored the fact that he tried to betray his peers in the past. On the contrary, Baroness is quite cunning. She isn't as dumb as she shows to be. She tries to be on a good side of Queen but tries to schemes against her when no one looks ". Cain Kial continue speaking as what he said till now was not enough.

" However, they both are not to be trusted and can betray anyone. In the past, they betray the hands that feed them. But scheming against against the royal prince? I don't think they have guts to do that...only a great schemer can have the guts to do that. Therefore, I think...there someone else behind this case. The real plotter is someone who has a status as high as you are ", with this he finished his statement.
