Connor's heart skipped a beat.

Just then, they received news from Dilsburg. Frank's men stepped forward and reported, "Mr. Stewart, we've just gotten news that someone has sold a bracelet in a pawn shop. According to the investigation, the bracelet belonged to Miss Jules."

Upon hearing that, Connor was shocked. Lucille's belongings had suddenly appeared in a pawn shop and were sold off. Didn't it prove that the old priest was right when he said that Lucille was far away yet right before their eyes?

In other words, if Lucille was still alive, she was in Dilsburg.
