The Young Soldier
"Regiment Commander what would you like done?" A male soldier asked as he stood erect in front of a giant oak desk. The blinds were drawn, little to no light came in, a man sat in the chair behind the desk. His eyes were glowing a golden colour even in the dark atmosphere, he pulled out a lighter and lit a report that was in his hands. The fire illuminated his facial features, it caused the male soldier to shudder as the fire danced.
He then threw the burning pile of papers into a metal trans bin by his desk. He had read the report multiple times, hoping that the words were only an illusion, a figment of his imagination but to his horror the words never changed. He didn't want it to exist anymore, he didn't want to exist anymore. "Shatter their souls." The man said in a death like tone. "Yes sir!" The male soldier replied with a salute before leaving the office.
