The formidable black bear, much to the surprise of Ye Shu, did not tear itself in half as he had feared, but instead, it inquired Ye Shu about something.

Ye Shu, taken aback, found the bear's question to be something of his concern.

"Esteemed sir, your wife is right. May I ask what guidance you have for me?"

Seeing that the black bear was amiable, Ye Shu relaxed. He wasn't afraid of monsters, but rather, of those who would kill without hesitation. This black bear seemed to be a civilized monster.

"Then come with me. My wife is very interested in you; she could smell your scent from a mile away."

With a swipe of its paw, the black bear, in a nonchalant manner, led the way. Whenever a tree obstructed the path, it would kick it down forcefully.

Ye Shu hesitated, uncertain about the identity and intentions of the black bear and its wife.

At such times, it was crucial to understand the situation first. Ye Shu pondered and then addressed the bear, "Brother Bear, from what I know, most monsters have gone to the human world. Why haven't you and your wife done the same?"

Upon hearing this, the black bear immediately slapped a nearby tree with its paw, angrily saying, "Don't mention it. Some humans eat bear paws and livers. The first time I entered the city, I encountered it. I was so furious that I killed two people on the spot. As a result, I was caught by the Monster Alliance and spent ten years in prison. It's infuriating!"

Ye Shu looked puzzled and cautiously said, "Brother Bear, don't be angry. Only a few people secretly engage in such activities. Human laws prohibit harming bears, and black bears are classified as a second-level protected species."

"I know. After getting out of prison, I sought revenge. I joined my prison mate in the mountains for cultivation and have been living carefree. Now she's my wife."

As soon as the black bear and Ye Shu entered the gorge, the bear roared, "Wife, I brought someone."

After the roar, the door of a wooden house opened, and an aunt covered in spider webs, wearing coarse clothes, rushed out.

She truly had the style of an aunt, despite having a decent appearance, she was already of age, and she didn't bother with dressing up, resembling a rural woman.

Ye Shu felt a cold aura from her, the Yin energy. He had also been entangled by Yin energy before.

While Ye Shu was observing the spider demon, she had already run up to him, squinting her eyes to inspect him from top to bottom, sniffing vigorously, making Ye Shu uncomfortable.

The black bear on the side was not happy either, complaining, "Wife, why embarrass me? Don't sniff other men."

The spider demon glared at him, "Go away, you're in the way."

The bear shrugged and grumbled as he walked away. Ye Shu couldn't help but be amazed; this powerful and rough black bear was actually a henpecked husband.

The spider demon aunt explained with a smile, and Ye Shu dryly laughed, "Oh, may I ask, sister, what guidance do you have?"

He hit the nail on the head with this question, and the spider demon clapped her hands, lifting the spider webs near her ears excitedly, "Young man, do you have ghosts and zombies in your house? Are they the same person?"

Ye Shu understood the meaning behind the spider demon's words; ghosts and zombies indeed referred to Xiao Leng.

However, he didn't reveal it immediately. Some things should be kept secret, as he still didn't fully trust this aunt.

"Sister, what do you want to do? Can you tell me?" Ye Shu inquired. The spider demon raised an eyebrow, revealing an enthusiastic smile, "Young man, you don't trust me. The spider demon displayed an air of mastery, lifting the spider silk on her head. She exuded a somewhat masterful aura.

Ye Shu, on the other hand, was a bit dazed. This spider demon aunt was indeed an eccentric person. Unexpectedly, she was suddenly asking him to be her disciple, and he couldn't believe his luck.
