Instead of the grand hall, Gerard stood in an audience chamber with only a select few members participating. Gorin stood beside the king, and Bherim and Kherim knelt on either side of Gerard. Delilah stood off to the side, watching intently. Gerard knelt in respect to the leader of the dwarves.
Worthrod held the Hammer of Keldor in his hands, his smile showing the depths of his satisfaction. He slammed it down beside his chair, and Gerard winced.
