Chapter 5 100 days to seduce my boyfriend

"Then I will take my leave," as soon as the secretary walked out, Mason walked towards the box and then opened it.

He was surprised yet shocked at what he saw. It was something he didn't expect to see.

"Miles...I've been too soft on you," Mason gritted his teeth in anger.

"Mr. Armani, I forgot to give you this," Mason's secretary walked in scaring the hell out of him. Mason jumped in fright and threw the book at his face. It was a comic erotic novel.

"Oooh, I'm sorry you read this book too. The second sequel just came out should I order it for you?" He said.

"Get out," Mason yelled in embarrassment.

"And next time knock on the damn door, now get out," he yelled again.

"Why am I yelling? It's not like it is mine right? So I shouldn't feel guilty it's for Miles, I don't even know what it is," he mumbled after a while.

"Mr. Armani? Are you okay?" His secretary waved his hands.

"What are you still doing here?" Mason said in annoyance.

"Oooh, I brought the documents,"

"You have brought now leave," Mason said in frustration. He had never been embarrassed in his life, unlike today.

Mason's phone suddenly rang. He stared at the caller and couldn't help but clench his fists in anger. He picked it up and then heard from the other end.

"Did you get my gift? Reading it will help you get the love of your life, just thinking about your ugly expression is enough to make me laugh for an entire month it's a shame I didn't take a video maybe next time," Miles said as he burst out in laughter.

Mason was the kind of person who hated embarrassment and awkwardness. Just thinking about it, Miles couldn't help but laugh continuously but as he laughed, Mason's breathing got heavier and heavier. He was so angry but had no one to take it out on. He immediately hung up the phone not willing to listen to Miles's nonsense but one thing was for sure, he was going to get back at him.

"That idiot," he said angrily. He stared at the three books lying on the floor. He stood up in curiosity and then walked towards them picking them one by one as he read the titles.

"100 days to seduce my boyfriend," he read out loud and then turned to the next one, "how to tame a man's heart,"

"Are these even reliable? Should I throw them away? Maybe I should read and see if it would be a waste to them the out," he mumbled. After some thought, he decided to read them first. He walked back to his seat and then picked up one of the novels and then began reading.

*****

The next morning in school, Miles and Mason walk side by side as they head to class.

"About yesterday," Miles said.

"What about it?" Mason replied nonchalantly.

"Are you mad? About the books?" Miles couldn't stand, Mason's nonchalant behavior. He had to break the silence but he felt awkward just talking about it. Suddenly he spotted someone, Sky this was his chance.

"Sky, wait up," he yelled as he ran towards him.

"Are we close?" Sky replied with a dark voice.

"Aaah! I know now why Mason has a crush on him they are both compatible people with a foul mouth," Miles sighed softly.

"I hate skinship, so stop touching me," Sky said pushing Miles's hand away. But compared to Mason, Miles had a much better attitude.

"Oooh, sorry Mason wanted to talk to you," Miles said pushing him toward Mason.

"Are you stupid? Or just dumb," Sky yelled as he stumbled towards Mason but Mason took a step backward making him fall to the ground with a loud thud.

"How did that happen?" Miles was in total confusion.

"Wait, aren't you supposed to catch him like in the movies?" Miles turned to Mason.

"And why would I?" Mason replied arrogantly walking ahead leaving Miles in total confusion.

Miles stood in confusion as he wondered how Mason could be so thick-skinned. Even someone with no brains would be able to decipher what Miles was doing. It was as simple as holding Sky but instead, he took a step back and then walked away arrogantly.

He finally understood why Mason had no friends, he was someone who didn't care about anything else but still, he loved Sky so why?

He couldn't understand. He was suddenly interrupted by Sky's yelling.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" Sky's voice rang.

"I'm doomed," Miles said he glanced at Sky's face which was filled with fury, and made one decision. To run. He picked up his bag and then ran away totally forgetting even if he ran he was in the same class as Sky.

"Mason, you have to help me I'm doomed once Sky comes in," Miles breathed heavily as he held Mason's elbow. Mason stared at his hand quietly which made Miles take out his hand quickly. Right Skinship. He thought.

"So will you help me? Answer me I'm desperate," he said as he stared at the door.

"And why would I answer you just because you said it?" Mason replied.

"Please, I will do what you want, pretty please just this once," Miles begged.

"Fine," Mason finally said. He couldn't stand his annoying voice.

"So tell me, what will you do?" Miles bugged him.

"If you keep bugging me you will have to sort it yourself," Mason said.

He couldn't stand him anymore. Mason began wondering why he became friends with Miles in the first place he wouldn't zip his mouth and was so annoying. He sighed just thinking about him.
