Who are you!?

"Urgh" i groaned as my eyes slowly adjusted to the light. I felt like crap. My legs,arms and head all hurt in sync so i just laid there. I took a few deep breaths before attempting to stand on my feet.

My mind wavered on the thought of my friends and there wellbeing. Did tha...those things kill them. I wanted to cry. I felt lonely,scared and fragile. I examined my surroundings and to my suprise,I've never seen anything like it.

It had a rotten stench,like something died. The scenery before me was breathtaking. It looked like something straight out of a fairytale. The sky had a bright shade of gold mixed with a soft touch of light blue. Water rushed from the waterfall into a stream nearbye. The grass was green and lush. All types of fruits could be seen even some that I've never seen before.

A roar pulled me back to my senses. Fear took over as i saw a hairy thing looking straight at me through the bushes. I slowly stepped back when it started to crawl its way to the edge of the bushes before pouncing at me.

I screamed and immediately ran but it was quick. It knocked my to the ground before hovering over me. This thing was huge. It's teeth were sharp,sharp enough to easily tear through my skin. Its eyes resembled the colour crimson. Black fur coated its body. Then i saw its claws, it sure could use a pedicure.

As i was about to accept my fate when something emerged from out of nowhere and tackled it to the ground. I backed up and watched as the one on top bit and scratched the other. It howled in agony as it slowly took its last breath.

I examined the the one on its feet and it somewhat looked like a cheetah...no that's not it. A tiger....um not quite. A leopard,that's it.

It turned and looked at me and softly purred leaving me confused.

The leopard slowly walked over to me before turning in a boy. My jaws dropped. I blinked a couple time just to see if i was losing it.

He looked at me with an upset glint in his eyes.

"Don't you know you're not supposed to be here especially at a time like this?"he questioned.

I just stared at him flushed. His naked body was so close to mine.He had bright golden eyes and a handsome face.I averted my gaze to his broad shoulders were he had some weird drawings. His toned abs caught my attention also. My eyes trailed down to his torso before landing right on his manhood. He sure was tall too.

I squealed internally. I've seen men half naked before but this was different. The way it rose gave me butterflies. "You done admiring me"he asked while smirking. I quickly looked away. We stayed there in awkward silence for a good ten minutes.

"What was that thing?"i asked.

"A feral beast"he replied. "They come to areas like these to find food. The scenery attracts all types of animals and they get what you almost got. The difference is they didn't leave here alive"he finished.

I looked down at my hands and feet. Could that be what happened to my friends. Are they even still alive?

"Come"he demanded.

We walked to the back of the bush were that thing was hiding. The rotten flesh piled up at the corner released disgusting odor. It must be the stench that i smelled from ealier on.

"Come on, I'm taking you with me"he stated and took my wrist.

"You didn't even tell me your n-"he cut me off.

"Carter, my name is carter".
