A sharp scythe darted through the air at terrifying speeds!
Reacting instantly, Itachi flipped in the air before distancing himself from Kakazu and Hidan!
However the scythe managed to scratch his face, drawing blood….
"Muhiihihihihi….. Uchiha boy lets dance shall we…" Hidan let out an obscene laugh before he walked confidently to his scythe!
Itachi looked at this figures with great caution because he understood that they were very powerful to be able to hold off the Hokage for such a long time!

The metallic sound echoed as Hidan deftly pulled out his scythe…
He slowly admired the beautiful red scythe with admiration, obsession…
Seeing this scene, Itachi felt a chill! Sure enough, Kage-Level Ninja's surely have a problem or two in their personalities….
Bringing the Scythe to his lips, Hidan stuck out his tongue and licked the tip of the foremost blade in delight and ecstacy!
Even though the drop of blood that it had managed to take had already dropped to the floor, remains are bound to be left!
Therefore, Itachi watched as Hidan licked his weopon with narrowed eyes….

A Grudge mask punched a hole where Itachi had just been! Jumping back, Itachi quickly turned into countless crows that cawed in the night sky. Seeing this scene, Kakazu smirked mysteriously…

Hidan pierced his hands with his scythe and let blood flow on the ground without a change in expression. With one leg, Hidan began to draw to the mysterious evil symbol of Jashin with his own blood!
There was an immediate reaction as Hidan completed the symbol! An errie aura spread out causing a momentary chill.
Itachi felt uneasy after seeing the symbol, but just chose to watch first, maybe this person wanted to expose his true form through some unknown methods? Itachi thought silently as he prepared his counterattacks…

"What! Impossible!" A disbelieving sound echoed as the real Itachi stumbled to the floor! He was hiding directly behing Kakazu forming a sinister plan!
Turning around calmly, Kakazu showed no signs of panic, only complete disgust….
"Muhahaha die for Jashin-sama, become
the best sacrifice for the day!" Hidan roared crazily as his scythe impaled his abdomen!
Clutching his abdomen that was soaked in hot viscous blood, Itachi was stunned on the spot as he gazed at Jidan that had turned white and black! Like a skeleton!
[Boom!]
Another Earth Grudge Fear mask punched through the air towards Itachi who hastily dodge clumsily! Taking advantage of the gap, another mask agily bent in an unreal manner, landing a solid punch on Itachi's chest!
Flying out, Itachi spat out a mouthful of blood before stabilizing himself on the floor!
"Heihihihih Uchiha boy, just die for me…it's the minimum price for a shameless betrayer don't you think…" Hidan cackled in glee, before stabbing his leg directly!
It must be said that, Hidan was very efficient as he knew how to counter prey that intended to escape!
"Argh" A muffled groan escaped Itachi's lips as he gazed at his injured leg! Now he understood what was happening! His expression turned grave as he realized the implications of such a disastrous technique!

A massive red skeleton giant appeared as it directly blocked the punch from the Grudge Mask!
Seeing the red giant, Kakazu and Hidan were taken aback, seemingly realizing something, they looked at the giant with a flicker of fear. They saw the terrifying explosion that massive red blood giant caused…

Kakazu squinted his eyes as he observed the Susanoo carefully before breathing a sigh of relief! " Don't worry Hidan, this is just a cheap replication of that blood giant earlier…" Kakazu stated before he refocused his attention to his opponent's eyes which had changed from the 3 Tomoe to a Shuriken shape! Mangyekou Sharingan..
"Eeeeh, it seems that this Uchiha boy took the short end of the stick, getting such a weak Mangyekou Sharingan" Hidan curled his lips and spoke in disdain.
Itachi directed his bloodshot eyes towards Hidan, if he didn't want to die here, this person had to die!
Thinking of this, Itachi hesitated no more as viscous blood ran down his eyes, streaking through his face!

An eerie black flame materialized in the void directly over Hidan!
Sensing something amiss, Hidan took a large step back, leaving the magic circle!
"What just happened?" Hidan felt something was off, so he took a large step back, but he still had not discovered what was wrong!
Genjutsu?
As Hidan contemplated the seen, Kakazu's eyes narrowed as he gazed at the ominous black flame that burned everything in its path! "Water Release: Wild Water Wave!" Forming hand seals, kakazu released a turrent of water towards the black flame that vigorously burned the magic array and the ground!
[Boom!]
After a large crash, Kakazu's eyes narrowed as he gazed at the multiplying black flame that constantly burned the water…
Hidan who saw this scene widened his eyes…as if sensing something looked at his hand! On his hand a tiny black flame had landed, but he overlooked it!
[Boom!]
As if sensing that it could no longer burn calmly, the black flame on Hidan;s arm rapidly combusted and consumed his whole right arm!

A black tendril wizzled past, cutting of Hidan's arm that continued to burn, eventually turning to ashes!
Hidan seeing this, jumped back to Kakazu's side as he gazed at the black flame cautiously with a hint of dread!
Had he not taken a step back this inextinguishable flame could have burned him alive!
A silent face-off was underway, as Hidan and Kakazu gazed at Itachi calmly, with no side willing to attack first! Itachi knew his issues very well so he didn't want a prolonged battle! Having used all the abilities of the Mangyekou in a relatively short time, the strain caused is simply too much!
Futhermore, he just acquired this Mangyekou not long ago, so he was not proficient in its use! Due to this, that Skeleton man, escaped!
"Let's go Hidan!" Kakazu said slowly. Hidan nodded before…
Kakazu turned his back, before walking away silently. Hidan gripped his scythe with his one hand as he stood still, looking at the Uchiha boy solemnly. How could they turn their backs to an enemy? Who knows whether a black flame will envelop their backs?
Itachi quickly took the initiative to step back.
Following on cue, Hidan and the 3 remaining Earth Grudge Masks took a step back as well!
Step….Step…..Step….Step
Taking steady steps back, Itachi and Hidan quickly distanced themselves from each other!
The scene was quite comical, but no one was here to see it except….
After reaching a certai distance, a grudge mask stood in front of Hidan, as Hidan turned his back and ran off towards the direction Kakazu had disappeared!
Fortunately, no one attacked at the last moment, therefore everyone escaped safely!
Akihiko silently watched this scene with the Byakugan and was speechless! Are they playing tag?
Despite the absurd scene, Akihio understood why the both sides choose to retreat! Firstly, for Kakazu, any mission without money is useless, so dealing with this Uchiha boy was unnecessary despite his desire to kill him!
Though, Hidan was not of the same opinion, he didn't have a choice since Kakazu gets to say what they do..
As for Itachi….it is already self-explanatory. Due to only awakening a few hours prior, he had no experience or proficiency, besides, he didn't have enough chakra to last long in a prolonged battle!
He fought that mysterious Hyuga and Orochimaru after all!
As Akihiko watched Itachi, he fell into deep thought before dispersing in a poof of white smoke!
Yes! This was a clone!
The main body who had parted ways with Orochimaru, stood on roof top, before he analysed the information sent by his clone!
A smile parted his lips before he considered his options.
Akihiko had thought about another thing after his clone dispersed!
Nothing adverse will happen if Itachi dies right?
Why is he asking this question? Of course, its because he was going to kill Itachi!
There are several reasons for this!
He was interested in the Mangyekou of course! That was a constant already! He alsowanted to obtain the 2 Sacred Treasures of the Uchiha Clan!! They were the Yata Mirror and the Sword of Totsuka!
Who wouldn't want such a splendid artifict! With Akihiko's growing knowledge, he guessed that, obtaining the Sacred Treasures rely on a soul contract!
Which means that this treasure will forever remain in one's soul except one is killed and forcibly stripped of the artefact! Or the user voluntarily releases the artefact!
If Itachi does gain the Yata Mirror, Akihiko would not have the confidence to bring him down! Therefore, lets just uproot him there and then, when he's weak!
As for the fact that it will hinder Sasuke's growth? Who cares about that sh*t?
After making a decision, Akihiko vanished with the wind as we traversed the Village, in search of a very large and appetizing prey!!
