Towering flames and smoke shrouded Konoha as a gloomy aura spread through the atmosphere. Every Ninja wearing solemn expressions as they gazed at the almost destroyed Half of Konoha! They knew that times were changing, and very fast at that!

Another Great Ninja War may be upon them, therefore some were apprehensive, some were happy about it, some were extremely resentful and wished to rush into the battle….

However, despite the mixed feelings of all Ninja's present, one thing could not be hidden!

Dissatisfaction!

They were Dissatisfied with this Leadership!

So the Hokage could mobilize an entire army to flatten the Uchiha but could not retaliate against Kumogakure that even went as far as to abduct the Hyuga Princess.

Wasn't this despicable? To act so ruthlessly against an ally and be submissive to the enemy. Konoha had it's pride as he strongest Village therefore most Ninja's were dissatisfied!

Even if they didn't like the Uchiha based on their attitudes, but it didn't change the fact that they were still from Konoha! Besides their contribution to Konoha was definitely not small.

As a prolonged silence ensued in the surrounding area, the Ninja's had a tacit understanding to keep this silence for the Uchiha clan!

This was their way of showing them respect…

As every Ninja present on the scene gave their silent respects, Danzō guarded with 3 Jonin made his way to an almost secluded spot in the Village.

There were not much infrastructure in this part of the Village, clearly it was something akin to the slumps, but much better.

Swoosh

A Ninja swiftly appeared in front of Danzō and his Root!

The Root acted swiftly as they took out their kunai and pointed its sharp edge towards the neck of the unkown ninja!

The Ninja broke out in cold sweat as he saw how dangerously close the kunai was to his neck. He didn't dare move, fearing for his life. He now regretted coming to speak to this Elder, but there was no medicine for regret.

"Lord Danzō we were instructed to keep watch over the Jinchuuriki. May we know what orders you have for us!" The Ninja was very tactful as he showed subservience instead of questioning this Elder.

Unlike other ignorant Ninja, he knew very well the ruthlessness of this Elder. Besides they weren't ordered by the Hokage, so they didn't have any backing at all.

These Ninja's came at the orders of their clan heads, so if they provoke Danzō, they might not know how they died! Besides, no one would even avenge them! An unjust death, so its better to be down to the ground in front of this Elder!

Danzō nodded expressionlessly to the Ninja, before speaking." Evacuate the Perimeter, the protection of the Jinchuuriki is hereby under the jurisdiction of the Root!"

Danzō spoke powerfully before waving his hand, as if chasing away a fly…

The Ninja instinctively frowned before he nodded at vanished.

Going against this Root was clearly unwise, besides they didn't have anything to do with the Jinchuuriki so it was not their place to meedle…

As the Ninja vanished, other Ninja's in hidded places also evacuated silently.

In a short minute, the area was cleared, leaving only Danzō and his Root who promptly walked towards the apartment of the Jinchuuriki!

They swiftly passed through the window and gazed at Uzumaki Naruto who lay on his bed fast asleep.

The Root could not help but find it weird that despite all the noise made outside, this boy still slept and even snored. Truly doesn't care about anything…

On a second thought, he really doesn't need to care about anything so….

Danzō looked at Uzumaki Naruto with a chilling gaze as he unwrapped his bandaged eye!

Finally, the Jinchuuriki would fall under his complete control! With the Jinchuuriki and Akihiko on his side, nothing could stop him from ruling the Ninja World! He would finally take that first step right now…

Signalling for the Root members to give a litte space, Danzo walked in front of Naruto's bed and activated his Chakra!

Inside of Naruto's mindscape, The Nine Tails, as if sensing something, slowly opened its large bulbous eye with a single red slit in it and gazed at the outside world.

'Roar!'

"Damn you! You cursed Uchiha! Roar!!" The Nine Tails thrashed as it's Nine fluffly tails continuously flayed above its head!

To think that those Uchiha bastards always enjoy controlling it! They had to die!!

Obviously, the Nine Tails ranting did nothing to Danzō and his subordinates who couldn't hear him.

Activating the Mangyekou, a strange power was swiftly released as it directly attacked Naruto's mind!

Naruto instinctively frowned as a strange event occurred!

[Boom]

Turbulent blue chakra erupted from Naruto in an instant before it took on an orange hue!

In Naruto's head, the previous pure blue chakra swirled around chaotically inside Naruto's head as if in a frantic run.

A Strange black mist had infiltrated and attempted to change key structures in the mental world! This Blue Chakra fought fiercely against this black mist!

Ashura's Chakra!!

Meanwhile in a different space in Naruto's Mind scape…

A lush environment, with budding flowers that blessed the landscape with an almost ethereal beauty!

A beautiful red haired femal sat crosslegged with a serene aura. Suddenly she opened her eyes, with it came a towering pressure!

"Who dare's harm my son!!" A monstrous killing intent bubbled from the red haired female that quickly killed all the lush plants, turning the landscape dry!

Though she didn't know the nature of the attack, she keenly noticed that it was nothing good! Therefore she was furious! Who dared to harm her son?

Wasting no more time, she peeped through the loose seal and happened to see a Mangyekou pattern spin and induce a terrifying mental power on her….no on her son!

Kushina broke out in cold sweat as she gazed at that terrifying eye! She wouldn't have feared the Mangyekou if she were alive but right now…

She feared for her sons safety!

Kushina forcefully extended her range of view and saw..... Danzō?

"Aaaaah Bastard Old Man! How dare you harm my son!" Kushina roared in anger as she saw Danzō trying to harm her son!

Kushina no longer felt any fear, only a towering rage as she gazed at this old bastard!

She had repeatedly tried to kill this old man, however, either Minato or Hiruzen stopped her! She wanted nothing more than to kill him, he was too full of himself and even wanted to take her to the Root!

"Aaaargh so you want to brainwash Naruto?!" Piecing information, Kushina quickly found out what Danzō wanted to do!

Danzō had always wanted the Jinchuuriki to be a sole weopon for Konoha! She had even killed a number of Root that wanted to capture her!

To think that this bastard had the guts to touch her child! Where was Jiraiya? Where was Tsunade? Where was the Third Hokage?

Kushina gradually lost it as her anger reached the peak! Mobilizing her chakra, she conjured a blade in mid air that slashed at the Nine-Tails Seal in the space next door!

She was not going to have her child serve that Son of a Bitch! So she acted decisively! She knew that only the Nine Tails could help sever this mental attack!

The Nine Tails that was already thrashing in the Seal Space happened to see the Seal cut into half!

"Muhahaha! Damn Uchiha! Die for me!!"

[Boom!]

Akihiko who had already retrieved Shishui's eye from Itachi's crow, suddenly turned around and gazed at the other end of Konoha.

A bearly visible orange chakra momentarily flared up! However, Akihiko quickly locked on to it!

"Kyuubi?" Akihiko activated his Byakugan and zoomed in on the location, only to see Danzō and his men.

He quickly uunderstood! So Danzō planned to take control of Uzumaki Naruto, however there was a strong reaction from the Kyuubi.

Curling his lips, Akihiko decided to head over there. It won't be bad to help his employee at the times of need! He'd save Danzō when he's going to die! That way he could secure more benefits before he dies for real.

With this thought in mind, Akihiko vanished.

Danzō who was almost blown away by the the Orange chakra grunted in displeasure.

"Humph your fate is becoming my weapon!"

Snorting, Danzō's gaze turned could, before he pushed his chakra to the limit as he activated the Mangyekou again!

Unlike the main eye that could only use its technique once every ten years, the auxiliary eye didn't have this drawback!

The Mangyekou spun and released its evil wave once more….
