Chapter 60 Finding the truth; the test subjects

Ethan held her hand and then walked in first as Lisa followed behind.

"Be careful," Ethan mumbled softly. They didn't know what awaited them underground but what they knew was that they had to find the truth one way or another so there was no escape.

After a few seconds, they reached the last stairs. Ethan and Lisa stood side by side as they stared at the large dark room in silence.

"I'll get the torch," Ethan said as he took his phone out.

"Wait here, I'll find go turn on the lights first," Ethan said as he walked away.

"So this is where the lab was hidden," Lisa said after Ethan had switched on the lights.

Lisa walked to the table at the corner where there was a pile of papers. She sat down and then began flipping and reading each one of them and as she read, her face would frown from time to time.

Ethan looked around the large room, apart from the papers Lisa had at hand there wasn't anything important around.
