Chapter 32 Is she alive?
"By the way aunt, I want to ask you something,"
"What is it? Ask,"
"Where did you guys go to? Why did you stop visiting all of a sudden? What about my mother is she dead or alive?"
"Your mother?" Lisa's aunt asked with a shocked expression realizing that she might have sold herself out she smiled slightly. But her reaction had already been noticed by Lisa and Ethan. The duo exchanged looks in silence but they both understood both their thoughts.
"Ooh, why are you suddenly asking about her?"
"Is there a possibility that she is alive?" Lisa asked with a tiny bit of hope in her heart. She watched as her aunt shifted uncomfortably and then turned to look at her husband in the kitchen.
"Alive? No, I don't think so why would you even think that?" She replied but both Lisa and Ethan could tell that she was lying.
After the meal,
"Aunt, we are leaving take good care of yourself I'll visit you soon," Lisa hugged her as she spoke.
