103. Ji Corps.

Location: HQ of the Ji corps.

In the board meeting room....

The room was filled with middle-aged men who were the current shareholders of the Ji corps. Well, not all of them were middle-aged, for at the head chair sat a young lady in a smart suit with her hair tucked behind her ears showing the fine features she had, as an amused smile was pasted on her otherwise genteel face. On her either side sat a man and a woman, both of whom had a straight face and unfeeling eyes, it was hard to believe that all three of them were seeing the same thing and had such different reactions to it!

This was supposed to be an annual board meeting before the start of the Chinese year and they had come here to discuss the path that Ji corps was going to take this year.
