Panic gripped Nova and Cindy as they stared at the ruined dress on the floor. The carefully crafted masterpiece, which had been a symbol of hope and renewal, was now a tattered mess. Cindy knelt beside the shredded fabric, her hands trembling as she tried to gather the pieces.
"We don't have much time," Cindy said, her voice shaking. "We need to try to salvage what we can."
Nova felt her heart race. "How could this happen? Who would do something so cruel?"
Cindy took a deep breath, forcing herself to stay calm. "We need to focus. We can figure out who did this later. Right now, we need to fix this dress."
