My Siren(BL)

What happens when myth meets reality? On the night of his father's grand Hotel opening, Aiden had gone out to the sea with his friends to escape the noisy crowd in the hotel that disturbed his peace. Out on the sea and out of boredom, he had decided to try out something he had never done all his life: fishing. In the middle of the night... along the offshore zone of the sea, the fishing net was casted into the sea. When something tugged at the net, his friends quickly pulled it up and into the boat before it could escape back into the ocean With a sense of achievement, they looked at the net to see what they had caught and to their suprise... ----- Aiden walked up to kai who laid motionless on the cold floor after being pulled out of his tank by his tail. His wet golden coloured hair sprawled and stuck to his pale white skin as the water droplets trickled down to the ground. Aided squatted in front of him and gently pushed back the loose strands of wet hair that shielded his face. Holding onto kai's chin, he tilted his head up so he could look back at him. Upon seeing the hateful gaze of the young merman directed at him, a sly grin appeared on his face "Let me go." Kai said through gritted teeth causing Aidens smile to broaden. Caressing his cheeks softly, he leaned closer to the dripping man and whispered softly into his ears in a deep dulcet voice "No-" [Readers discretion is strongly advised]

sweet revenge, literally

"Wake up..."

"Aiden, wake up..."

Aiden opened his eyes to see Kai hovering above him, and a smile appeared on his face.

"This is a very nice way to wake up," he muttered and Kai scoffed,

"You said you were gonna come with me to work, get up." Kai pulled the blanket away from his body, and Aiden groaned and curled on the bed feeling the winter cold hit him,

"Come on, get up. I'm gonna be late."

"Do you really plan on waking up this early every day? It's gonna be stressful for you, you know."

"You don't hear me complaining. Come downstairs when you're done. I prepared breakfast." Hearing this, Aiden immediately sat up with a bright smile on his face. Breakfast?

"I'll be right down." He stumbled from the bed before hurrying into the bathroom.

Kai went downstairs to finish setting up the dining table, and soon Aiden descended the stairs in a casual black Jean, a white. Hoodie and a black overcoat.

"You were ready really fast," kai commented and placed the jug of steamed milk on the table. Aiden stared at the meals on the table as he pulled a chair and took his seat

"Wow... you really went all out didn't you." He smiled and picked up a cutlery

"I guess."

Kai had really gone all out for breakfast. Now it felt like they were a married couple having a meal together before heading to work

On the table were sandwiches, fruit salads, omelettes, cookies and brownies. Kai had decided to try every single thing he had learnt the previous day while also following a youtube video on how to cook and somehow ended up cooking more than they could eat.

"It's too much for us even with the helper. I'll package some and give it to Mrs. Lyn when we get there. She'll tell me if I did well." Kai smiled, proud of his work and went on to package it inside a pink dessert box.

Aiden took a loud sip from the peanut banana smoothie Kai prepared for him and his eyes widened,

"Wow... this is... surprisingly really good." He stared down at the milky delicacy with a smile and Kai sighed, finally able to breath after Aidens positive review,

"Oh good cause I learnt that on the internet."

"Really, wow, I knew you were a fast learner but this is really great." Aiden took another gulp from his glass, savouring the creamy flavour in his mouth.

"Enough with that." Kai reached for the glass and snatched it from the young masters hold and handed him another mug of a cappuccino coffee,

"Here, try this too and tell me what you think." Aiden rose the cup to his lips not thinking twice about it and took a sip out of it.

Too sweet...too sweet! Cappuccinos weren't supposed to have sugar in them! So why did his have? Did he pour a whole pack of sugar into the expresso? Or was it the milk...

"Well how does it taste?" He peeked at the merman from his cup and saw the awfully sweet look on his face eagerly awaiting a praise... he couldn't do it, he looked too adorable to get hurt.

Aiden forced down the drink in his mouth through his throat and heaved a sigh of relief when it finally settled in his stomach.

"It's... uhh... really sweet." The smile on Kais face fell and his non-existent tail and bunny ears drooped.

"It's not good is it."

Aiden sensed the coming turmoil and was quick refute.

"No! Noo! It's great! I love it."

"Then why aren't you drinking it?"

"Ehhh?" How could he drink it when it was too sweet. "I just... drank too much smoothie that's all."

"But you didn't even drink much."

"Oh... uhhh." He placed the drink back on the table and stealthily slid it away... changing the topic was the only way to escape now and that was what he did.

"When did you even wake up for you to prepare all of these anyway?"

"Oh, I actually came down for the chocolates while you were still in bed and I just went on with the cooking when i felt like it..."

Oh yeah... now the chocolates are gone.

Kai sat opposite Aiden and took two sandwiches and placed it in his plate. Aiden noticed that today Kai had worn a black turtle neck shirt to hide the hickey on his neck and shoulder and he smiled,

"Why are you wearing a long neck.'' Kai unconsciously traced the spot on his neck and smiled nervously,

"I'm leaving for work and I don't want to draw any attention."

It wasn't going to be a bad idea if he did just that though.

"Speaking of work, Kai... how much longer do you have?" Kai glanced over Aidens shoulder at the clock on the wall and immediately stood up

"Oh my gosh, I have just thirty minutes to get there!" He slammed the table and hurried to get his shoes and a gift bag for the dessert

Taking the box of muffins he had prepared off the counter, Kai grabbed onto Aidens arm and pulled him along to the car.

"What about the food?" Aiden asked when he got into the driver's seat

"The helper aunty can help out, she'll put it in the refrigerator, come on let's go!"

They got into the black Bentley and drove off to the main town.

Lucky for Kai, he was still able to make it to the cafe right on time and not long after, the lovely couple came up from behind.

"You made it early again today, how very punctual." Mrs. Lyn complimented as they approached the duo who stood by the door and Kai smiled upon seeing them.

"Mrs. Lyn! Good morning." Kai greeted enthusiastically and the elderly woman smiled. The idea of having Kai in his work place made him really glad that he couldn't contain his joy. The elderly lady's eyes fell on Aiden who stood behind Kai and she walked up to him,

"Oh my! Is he your lover?" She questioned and Kai flushed and nodded, and Aiden couldn't be more pleased with this open acceptance.

"I'm Aiden, pleased to meet you Aunt Lyn." Aiden smiled back and bowed his head, deeply showing his respect and the woman practically bloomed flowers from her smile,

"Aiden Clein? I've seen you on TV before! You're Clein Morris' only son right?!"

"Yes ma'am."

"Woowwww! You really hit the jack pot here, kai! And at such a young age too."

"Don't be like that dear, you'll embarrass me." The elderly man said to his wife but she shrugged him off as usual. Aunt Evelyn felt like she was sucked into the world of BL and was reading a CEO love genre live from source.

"It seems you both have settled the problem you were talking about yesterday right?" aunt Lyn asked and Kai nodded

"Yes thank you for your support! To say how thankful I am, I brought you home made muffins... I made them myself too."

"My, how cute. Thank you." She collected the dessert box from Kai and ruffled his hair. Kai glanced behind the elderly couple and then at the surrounding area as if he was looking for someone

"Aunt Lyn.. did Ava not come today?"

"Oh Ava... she had some things to settle so she won't make it today."

"Really? I was hoping she'd eat the muffins too"

"I'll make sure she does. Ahhh... today we'll be short of a helping hand so things would be done until late."

"No need to worry, Aiden can help us." Hearing this, Aiden shot Kai a glare but the latter just smiled back at him. He didn't come here to work! Today was his day off damnit!

what was he planning? Revenge?

"No, no ... don't be like that Kai, I'm sure he's not interested in such work."

Of course he's not but for him to maintain a good first impression, he had to go along with Kai's suggestion. Urgh! Curtsey

"It's fine with me ma'am. I'd love to help too." He smiled half heartedly.

"Really?" And Aiden nodded back

"If you are uncomfortable feel free to speak up." Mrs. Lyn patted his shoulder and Aiden nodded again.

"That won't be a problem ma'am."

"Wonderful! Then let's open up."

The elderly man took out the keys from his pocket and unlocked the cafe doors. Everyone else walked in and just when Aiden was about to do same,

He heard the dull sound of a cameras shutter click like someone had taken a picture. Alarmed, he glanced around the area for a second looking for anyone suspicious but didn't see anything so he continued into the building.
