Chapter 44 Michael’s punishment P2

Mother Lanxian came walking in with a huge smile on her face, looking around as if she were searching for someone, when she spotted Dominic she quickly ran to him. "Son, where's my daughter-in-law? His he still around here, quickly go fetch him... I am so angry with you, I can't believe you have him working in the kitchen you want him to think unkindly of our family.... why you are standing there go… Go!…" she chastised Dominic as she impatiently awaited to meet her supposed further daughter-in-law.

Dominic frowned his brow confused, "what are you talking about mother, to whom do you refer" he asked bewildered.

Unimpressed by Dominic's pretence, she continued to scolded him, "why do you act not to know, we've already spoken to Michael on the phone on our way here. You know that boy can't keep a secret, so stop dilly-dallying and go fetch him this instant".

Dominic signed inwardly in annoyance, "Is Michael intending to personally hand me his own death certificate at this point" he thought to himself.

Mrs Lanxian ignored Dominic's indifferent attitude and again scolded him, "I said go, stop scolding Michael in your head, if he didn't tell me, how could I possibly save my poor sweetheart from working to death"? She glared at him as she and Mr Lanxian went to make their selves comfortable in the guest hall.

"Mother, I don't know what Michael has told you, nonetheless, it's not what you think, I also dislike him doing such task, but that is nothing something I can have an opinion on at this moment. Furthermore, Kang Lei has already gone home to pick up his son. And don't you think your rushing in here and instantly calming him, to be your daughter-in-law won't scare him off. We haven't even established that kind of relationship yet" he spoke flatly, all the while carrying an indifference demeanour about him.

However, Mrs Lanxian had not taken heed to his words and instead became excited at hearing that Kang Lei had a son. "Ahhhhh! I have a grandson! Honey do you hear that we have a grandson... oh goodie, we must go shopping tomorrow" she squalled raising to her feet in joy.

Mr Lanxian, who was just as joyous about the news, frowned slightly, he didn't want his beloved wife to become too excited and later be disappointed. Hence, he tried to be the voice of reason where he saw that his son most needed one. "Honey let's not rush things, let's wait until Dominic is ready" he spoke warmly placing a hand on his wife's waist and guiding her back to his side on the couch.

Mrs Lanxian pouted cutely unconcerned by her husband's worries, "If our Dominic has chosen him, then there's no reason to assume he wouldn't be successful in pursuing him" she turned her face to Dominic and in a cold tone warned him "don't you dare upset my daughter-in-law".

Bewildered, Dominic rolled his eyes, "am I even your son" he asked sarcastically, it was clear that even before he had successfully caught his prey he was already being taken by others.

"Will if it wasn't for your father I would have done a DNA test a long time ago" Mrs Lanxian fired back with all seriousness.

His parents and brother had remained with him until dinner, with Michael too was sat among them. Though he was happy to see them after not visiting them for some time, he was nonetheless annoyed at their earlier intrusion.

As they sat enjoying their family meal, Dominic excused himself to promptly return with a brown envelope in hand.

"Oh dear, what is that?" Mrs Lanxian asked, thinking it to be a contract for her husband.

Dominic remained silent and returned to his seat before acknowledging his mother's words. "Oh this, it's a gift for My brother and future brother-in-law" he replied with malice in his tone.

Unaware, Andrew's eyes automatically lit up at the word gift, "Oh brother thank you, what is it? .....a title to a house?" he asked excited, not realising his words.

"Honey, do you agree to marry me?" Michael quickly spat, using the opportunity to play on Andrew's emotions. He loved it when the little omega became all red and embarrassed.

Andrew flinched and immediately became flustered, with his cheeks brighting in colour. "wh.... when did I say I would marry an idiot like you!.....brother was giving me a gift for me and future husband! Whoever said it was you?" he passionately refutes, his voice shaking at every word.

Mrs Lanxian, amused by his reaction, couldn't help using the moment to help her favourite son. "Andrew sweetie we all know you're in love with Michael, I admit he's an idiot but stop playing hard to get and accept him already".

Andrew's eyes widened, he could believe his mother's betrayal, "Mo....Mother how could say such a thing!" he lowered his voice and under pouted lips he mumbled "how can I be playing hard to get when am not even being pursed"?

Unexpectably, Mr Lanxian also spoke up, "I agree with your mother, Michael is a good man, and both your mother and I have already approve of him", he added with a serious tone.

Shocked, Andrew doubted himself, he couldn't believe that his own parents would choose Michael over him. "Mother, father, does your favouritism have no bounds? How could you say such things, knowing the man you defend? Need I remind you both that I am your son and not that gigolo over there" He declared, feeling further wronged. But his cheeks immediately redden again when his gazed met the loving stare coming from Michael.

Though unconvinced by his denial, Mr and Mrs, decided to drop the matter before their youngest child turned into a real life tomato.

Dominic remained Unfazed by the whole interaction, all the while continuing with his meal. "Andrew, open your gift" he finally became impatient and spoke.

Grateful for the distraction, Andrew quickly grabbed the envelope and pulled a document from within and silently begun reading its contents. His eyes widened, and his face immediately became drained of all its colour.

"Andrew? ..... what's wrong?" Michael asked, worried, upon seeing Andrew's reaction.

"Brother ..... what is the meaning of this? Why have you written this up?" Andrew stared confusingly at his brother. He knew something had to have happened for Dominic to be unreasonable.

Dominic remained indifferent, and instead gently lifted his head to glare at Michael with a smirk, "ask your husband", he replied coldly.

Michael quickly pulled the paper from Andrew's hands, as he too read its contents, he was dumbfounded at what was written.

"Dominic, what have you done now to your brother and Michael?" Mrs Lanxian questioned, correctly guessing that whatever was written in that document was of no benefit to Michael and Andrew.

Michael became enraged, "Dominic, tell me you're joking? .... what is the cause of such a contract? You want us to not have sex before marriage and then one year after marriage. Is this some cruel and unusual punishment? Dominic! You can't do this!..... NO! I don't agree to this!" He roared, ripping the contract to shreds. He figured that this was due to the earlier incident with Kang Lei, he knew Dominic was petty and enjoyed seeing those who had wronged him punished. But this time his pettiness had gone too far, what alpha would be able to resist their omega, especially one that he had longed for all his life and is finally going to make his own.

However, for Dominic, he felt it just, first this man before him interrupted his private moment with Kang Lei, then he informed his parents causing a fuss. If that didn't warrant punishment, then what does? .

"I think you missed so key points, am pretty sure it also states you can't sleep with others aside from Andrew. Oh, Here's the fun part you can't kiss or touch.....you know what, why don't you read it for yourself, sign and give it back to me no later than tomorrow". He said pleasingly to Michael, looking in straight into his eyes, unfazed by his refute.

Michael bang his fist against the table and shouted, "Dominic Lanxian, this is some bullshit, and you know it!".

With a devilish unnoticeable smirk Dominic continued, "Well Look if you manage to succeed, like the contract states you will get fifty percent of my company". Dominic knew quite well that Michael didn't care for such things, and he had more than enough to offer Andrew. Hence, why he had included such a clause knowing Michael would have careless, giving him even more reason to punish him once he doubtingly failed.

"Fuck the company! You think some company is more important than being with my wife. I am telling you now Dominic, I don't agree" Michael said fuming with rage.

Mr Lanxian tried to calm the situation, he understood rightly why Michael was so upset, even he has a hard time keeping his hands off his wife of so many years. "Dominic son? Is this all necessary?" he said sympathetically.

Dominic sat coldly with no emotion and spoke, "he upset your further son-in-law and interrupted our special moment". He explained flatly.

Mr Lanxian sighed, alphas are especially possessive of their omegas, and knowing Dominic's nature, he could add no further words to help his younger son. He nodded his head at Dominic, "hmm well you boys have no other choice, you must agree and accept the punishment", he looked at Michael and Andrew, feeling less sympathetic to their plight.

Out of anger, Michael began to release his pheromones, directing an oppressive aura towards Dominic, "if we don't agree, what will happen?" he asked through gritted teeth.

Unconcerned by the threatening aura emanating towards him from Michael, Dominic answered causally, "That's simple, I do not allow you to see my you bother again".

Andrew jolted from his seat and shouted, "Dominic! I am an adult, who are you to tell me that I can't see my own alpha!" he turned to parents, seeking their help. "Mother! Father! Say something! Dominic's going too far!" he shouted, pointing his finger like a child who was being wronged, his cute face making it unbearable to say no to him.

"What can we do, didn't you just say that you didn't accept Michael as your husband? Why would the matter be so upsetting to you, or did you spit yourself to save your face?" His mother questioned naively, with both her and Mr Lanxian looking on, quite amused at their reactions.

Defeated by his earlier words, Andrew fell silent, knowing that no matter how much they protested, Dominic wouldn't give in. Therefore, the two reluctantly accepted defeat and remained sunken for the remainder of the meal, though Michael continuously directed his pheromones at Dominic, making it known he was still angered.
