Chapter 55 Alma’s escape

Alma nervously paced around the cell. She couldn't get Triana's words out of her mind. She wondered if Triana had found a cure for Blaze. According to Virgil, there was no antidote for the drug. But the confidence in Triana made her suspect that she had something to heal Blaze.

She also heard the guards say Blaze was tamed and had moved to his room. This led her to believe that the effects of the drug were waning, making her more restless. She was afraid Blaze would kill her.

"No. I can’t stay here any longer," she muttered. "I've got to get out of here!"

Alma continued to pace, thinking about how to get away from here. She walked up to the door and peeped out. She saw the guards chatting with each other in a relaxed mood.

‘Of course, they will relax now.’ She snickered.
