Chapter 28: Already scattering dog food even when not yet a couple.

Monday.

Hong Yue watched the high school students attended their flag-raising ceremony. He discovered that this university is one of the top universities in the country. Best facilities, best staff, and best environment.

"Are you done with your essay?" Lan Xing asked Hong Yue. They're in the library, and the high school department can be seen through the glass wall.

The topic of their essay is about how they spent their first week in and out of the university. The main point is their impression of the university.

"Yes." Hong Yue answered. "How about yours?" he asked.

"No." Lan Xing said and showed him the blank sheet of paper on his laptop's screen.

"..." what the... did he just attend school to fool around? He thought as he stared at Lan Xing. So what he meant by 'no' is that he didn't do his essay?

"What?" Lan Xing asked when he saw Hong Yue was staring at him.

"... give me your laptop." Hong Yue told him.

"Okay." Lan Xing said as they switched their laptop. "What episode did we stop yesterday?" he asked.

"... 300. The Shogun Assassination Arc." Hong Yue answered as he held his temper. His face darkened when he saw Lan Xing watched the anime. He really just attended the school to fool around. He helplessly sighed as he started Lan Xing's essay. After they're done, they will have their essay printed. It's a free service of the library.

"Hey. The Yorozuya appeared again." Lan Xing told Hong Yue.

"..." ignore him. Hong Yue thought as he continued to write Lan Xing's essay.

"Oh. Gintoki's going to be a double for the shogun." Lan Xing said.

"..." ignore... Hong Yue thought while writing Lan Xing's essay.

"Hahahaha. Hijikata and Kondo kicked the palanquin where Gintoki is off the cliff." Lan Xing laughed.

If Hong Yue was just holding a pencil, it must have already broken in his hands. "... don't talk to me." He told Lan Xing through his gnashed teeth.

"Eh?" Lan Xing said and turned. "Oh." He said before he zipped his mouth and resumed watching while Hong Yue resumed writing Lan Xing's essay.

He Ying, Cheng Tong, Ji Yang, Luo Ying, Wei Wei and Yu An with their other classmates. "..." the Celestial CP is freaking cool!!!! They screamed in their mind as they immediately took out their phone to talk about the Celestial CP. The others who haven't finished with their essay yet can only watch in regret as they hurried up with their essay.

ClassmateA: AAAAAA!!!! This pair of husbands!!!

ClassmateC: AAAAAAA! They're not a couple yet but they're already scattering their dog food!

The persons in question aren't aware of what's happening inside the library. "Done?" Lan Xing asked when he saw Hong Yue stopped writing.

"Yes." Hong Yue nodded.

"Send me your file. I'll have it printed." Lan Xing told Hong Yue.

"Oh." Hong Yue nodded and they switched their laptop. He connected to the local wifi and sent Lan Xing the file for his essay.

"You're good." Lan Xing said as he read both their essays. "Wait for me. Pause the video first." He told Hong Yue before he rose from his seat and went to the student assistant to have their essays printed.

Their classmates who aren't still finished since they're busy watching the Celestial CP. "..."

"Hm?" Hong Yue turned when he noticed them staring at him.

"Hong Yue..." they called.

"... you want me to help?" Hong Yue asked. They all immediately nodded.

"What's wrong?" Lan Xing asked when he got back.

"Nothing. You watch the anime first." Hong Yue told Lan Xing before he went to their nearest classmate's seat.

Lan Xing was puzzled but he did as what Hong Yue told him.

Their classmates who were fed with dog food again. "..." this is following his wife! They thought.

"I'll make a draft for you. You just edit some words to not make your essay look obviously similar." Hong Yue told them as he typed on his classmate's laptop.

"Amazing..." they exclaimed when they saw Hong Yue's slender jade fingers are moving fast on the keyboard. They didn't dare distract him like Lan Xing earlier and just silently watch him work.

Lan Xing raised his gaze and saw their classmates are surrounding Hong Yue. He didn't say anything and just resumed watching the anime on Hong Yue's laptop.

One hour later, their teacher's brow twitched after she read their essays in her office. "... why do I feel it's strange...?" she muttered when she felt the sentence structure of the essays are similar.

She ignored it and gave them a passing mark.

"If you wanted to watch, this is the external drive." Hong Yue told Lan Xing. They're having a break and they stayed in the pavilion. They left the library since it's not good if you'd always stay in air-conditioned places.

Lan Xing took the external drive. "Thanks." He said and immediately inserted the drive on his laptop to watch.

Hong Yue just nodded.

Lan Xing glanced at him. "Work?" he asked, referring to Hong Yue's late-night work.

"Yes." Hong Yue answered.

Lan Xing didn't bother him and resumed watching the anime after he wore his headphone. Silence fell between them, and the only thing they could hear is the rhythmic tapping of the keyboard, as well as the chatter of the students in their background.

"Hm?" Fen Xinxin said when she passed by. "Aren't they..." she said.

"Oh. The Celestial CP." Her classmate said.

"'Celestial CP'?" Fen Xinxin said.
