Abel looked at Hilsa's calm face in deep thought.
Her eyes were shut as her head shook gently from the car's constant rocking motion. He couldn't help wondering how she managed to put everything aside and even fall into what appeared to be quite a peaceful sleep.
A skill like that was something he would pay to have.
Calm and peace were two words that had eluded their lives' vocabulary for a while now. Abel couldn't even recall the last time he had slept for at least three hours without either waking up from a sudden nightmare or losing sleep entirely and ended spending almost the whole night trying to contemplate his life.
