First kiss

Wu Jinyan lifted her eyes to look at the man. His lips wore a faint smile and his eyes were serene. Wu JInyan thought what she had seen previously was all her imagination.

She couldn't believe he stood like a rock for so long with no trace of any emotion on his face when she continued screaming like a crazy woman. But he reacted spontaneously when she addressed him as her hubby.

Gosh! His behaviour was just too childish.

Gu Zichen was in no mood for dinner. But, she persuaded him. So, he thought he could give her some company.

Wu Jinyan came to her senses when she heard his voice "It's the only right way for you to call me....don't you think so, wifey?"

Wifey!! She gawked at the man like a bird electrified by the power line. 

This man was too good at speaking, her heart was now swimming in honey. She closed her eyes took a deep breath to calm her thumping heart and spoke awkwardly "But I'd better call you President Gu outside the house"

Of course, he would let her call him however she likes when in public but not when she's around him.

Gu Zichen leaned forward and whispered in her ears seductively "But I want you to scream my name only when you're under me" 

Scream his name!

Only when she was under him!

What was he even speaking?!!

Her heart pounded like a drum and she covered her red cheeks with her hands.

"Pervert.. who wants to scream your name?!"

Gu Zichen chuckled as he saw his wife running out of the room. Teasing her was fun but for now, he did not know if he made the right choice by marrying her.

He married her only because he wanted to see someone from his past regret her choices after she knew he was no longer her man.... he was no longer available.

As for Wu Jinyan...He's yet to see what's waiting for him. 

Nevertheless, indeed, he's now a married man with a wife. A cute and beautiful wife.

The maids were surprised to see their master walk into the dining area. They knew he was always busy with work and never bothered about eating. 

Was he not busy with work today?

Was he not going out?

Did he cancel all his meetings?

They had too many unsolved doubts running in their minds.

"Eat more.. your body is still weak" Gu Zichen silently ate as Wu Jinyan continued to pick food for him from the side. As the meal ended, Wu Jinyan put down the chopsticks and asked him in confusion "Wait.. you ate fine. But I heard you never eat at home"

Gu Zichen raised his brows and asked "What do you think?"

Wu Jinyan thought for a second before she said "It's not that you don't like to eat at home but you hate eating alone. Am I right?"

"Hmm.. You are smart" Gu Zichen smiled staring at her.

'This woman's not bad' He thought as he continued to eat his food on his plate.

"Then, why don't you just stay in the Gu residence? I noticed that your family house is bigger and better than this villa. At least there will be your parents to eat with you, right?" Wu Jinyan asked recalling the manor. She didn't see everything but had seen a part of the place. She could imagine the luxury one could enjoy in that house.

The maids standing a bit away from the table were stunned. Their master was powerful and stood with an air of superiority and dominance, oppressing everyone around him. One never dared to speak an extra word with him, but this woman spoke too casually and was brave enough to even question him.

Was it because she was their master's woman?! They mentally noted to take extra care of this woman in hopes she would help them when they were put in a tough spot by their master.

"That... My parents would always nag and fight with me. Also, this place is much closer to the company"

Hearing he was in the same state as her, Wu Jinyan laughed. "Haha...really. My friend Katie is also the same. She..."

The atmosphere was no longer gloomy and became more lively with her laughing.

Little did she expect, her innocent actions ignited something dangerous in him.

Gu Zichen did not understand why he began explaining things to her when he never liked to talk with others but it was evident that he felt calm and peaceful seeing her tiny face adorning all kinds of expressions while speaking to him.

He did not understand or hear what she was saying anymore. In the next second, he stood up bending towards her.

Wu Jinyan was too dazed to realize what happened. It wasn't easy for her to keep calm and composed as it was her first-ever kiss.

Moreover, it was their wedding night. She struggled for a moment to accept what she was getting into and somehow broke her walls of shyness and let his tongue slip into her mouth.

It was no more a one-sided move and she soon responded to his kiss. She closed her eyes as he took charge to lead the kiss further.

When the scene before the maids changed from a casual chat to an intimate action, their faces flushed red. They all turned around at once, fumbling with their hair and clothes to cover their nervousness.

When Gu Zichen understood what he had done, he broke the kiss and in a precise move, he picked up Wu Jinyan from the chair, threw her over his shoulder, and walked upstairs.

They got married and it was only right to have a proper wedding night. But deep down, he knew it was his burning primal desire that made him lose control suddenly and the term wedding night was just an excuse to cover up the lust brewing in him. Perhaps, it was because he stayed single for a long time.

He put her on the bed and looked at the tiny woman before him as he asked "Wifey...Are you willing?"
