"F*ck, it hurts!" I complained about the pain that my right hand was going through.

Luckily, the root that had stabbed me was sharp and solid enough. If not, there would've been a bunch of splinters left inside my hand. You see, I don't know how a healing pill works, so, just to be safe, I wanted to make sure that there wouldn't be anything to hinder the healing process. Exactly! That was my plan all along! Yep. That's why I decided to allocate the poor lady's limbs without having any experience in the medical field.

Cough Cough, alright. It is time for me to see if the shop has any interesting pills that I can buy.

'Display shoppee, and show me the cheapest magical healing pills or potions that doesn't have any side effects.' Was what I told the system in order to get what I needed.

Description: Upon consumption, a mortal's physical body will be completely at its peak state after ten minutes. 1 bottle contains 3 pills. Pill starts to lose its capable effects after three months.

[Low grade healing potions (Common)] 5Pp

Description: Upon consumption, any wounds can be healed. Potion effects lasts 5 minutes. Healing speed depends on the size of the wound. Needs to be consumed at once for the effects to appear.

[Healing balm (Common)] 1Pp

Description: Completely removes any scars. Can not be used directly on fresh wounds that are too big.

Hmm… It seems that the recovery pills is the only option for me. I'm not too sure about the potion, because it might not be able to restore bones, or perhaps not fast enough. Let's just buy the pills I guess. Unlike potions, pills are something more common in the cultivation world. Eleven Pee points though… For this mission alone, I'm already twelve Pee points poorer than before. Damn…

With a decision already made, I requested the system to give me the recovery pills on my left hand. As to not reveal anything to the lady that's not too far away from me, I even went as far as acting, as if I had the bottle of pills within my robe all along.

Holding the bottle in front of me, I made an effort to use my right hand to hold the bottle, because I needed to get rid of the lid with my left hand. Soon, a brown pill that looked like chocolate but tasted like spoiled beans, melted inside of my mouth.

Disgusting for sure, however, it did its job. The first immediate effect after swallowing the pills was that my hand stopped bleeding. After that… I guess I'll have to wait for ten minutes to pass. So yeah… In the mean time, while I wait for my hand to heal, I decided to feed the unmoving girl one of the two last recovery pills. The description of the pill said completely at peak state, so I'm guessing that allocating her arms wasn't really necessary. Welp… I guess I'm sorry… I'm not going to tell her that though.

Okay, so… Ten minutes has passed, and it seems that the description of the pills is indeed true. The hole in my hand had healed after just five minutes, but after ten minutes, my body does indeed seem to be in its peak state. I feel healthier than ever, and it's like I had a very good night sleep. Oh the wonders magic can do… Is it even magic? Cause from what I know, isn't it just science but with extra steps? Better and magic like recourses basically…

*Cough* *Cough* "You did not need to risk your life, but thank you…" The girl was able to sit after ten minutes, and that's when she finally talked to me.

"Well, I had to get the scroll on your body back to the sect. Since you were alive, the quest would have automatically changed, wouldn't it? Also, it was too late for me to retreat when those roots made their appearance. So yeah… It's not that I risked my life for you. It's just that you put my life on risk. Now please tell me. "Life insurance…" The girl muttered, a bit unsure about the meaning behind those words.

"Oh…" She hummed in understanding. "Yes! I definitely have the PP crystals to repay you! Whatever you need, I'll give it to you, because you freed me from dying and from the pain of not being able to drink for more than two days. As long as it's allowed by the elders, and as long as it doesn't go against my morals, I'll give you anything that I want, but note that I don't want to suffer as well."

"Anything huh… You have quite the great character, able to repay kindness with kindness. Also intelligent enough for people not to abuse that kindness of yours."

"Uhm… Thanks?"

*Cough* *Cough* Damn, I thought she would've seen me for someone wise after saying those words!

"How much do you have with you right now?" I proceeded to ask her, as I figured that that was the best thing for me to do at the moment.

"Not much… Just thirty mid grade PP crystals. I can allow you to take half of my monthly allowance and my quest rewards if you want." The girl suggested.

"Alright. Give me half of the total PP crystals that you have, when we get to your place. We're going to your place first, before we report to elder Xuan that you're still alive."

Hey hey hey! What do you mean I'm robbing her? She's the one to make such a suggestion, not me. Also, don't worry. My shamelessness knows its limits. I only want what she suggest because I wanted to try out a feature that the system might have.
