Phone Call

The day passed by pretty fast and it was now in the evening. Samantha was sitting at the balcony with a faraway look.

She lowered her head slowly and glanced at her phone that was resting on the coffee table.

Sam picked it up and unlocked. she clicked the contact app and swiped through several contacts when she finally reached Alex's number.

She glanced at the contact details keenly as if mesmerising every single number. Sam closed her eyes slightly and heaved a sigh.

She moved her thumb on the call button but stopped halfway. She has been doing that the whole day.

" Can you just calm down and forget everything about him?" She scolded herself for thinking about Alexander and wanting to call him.

She didn't know why she wanted to call him since she didn't know what to tell him in the first place. 

All she knew was that, she wanted to listen to his deep voice which made her heart pound faster than normal.
