Alexander wished he could tell her that he had already called Leonard and informed them that she was doing alright.

Diana was relieved to know that her best friend was safe and sound. She wanted to go to her right away and make sure that it was true.

" Wait! Do you know what a cell phone is?" Sam arched her eyebrows.

She had already forgotten that she was talking to a strange creature which was very different from human beings.

" You need to eat." Alexander ignored her question as he placed the pasta on the brown vintage table.

Sam heaved a sigh and sat on the highly backed chair. She didn't want to disturb him because he had saved her from those savage kidnappers who wanted to cut off her tongue.

The pasta smelled familiar which made Sam's stomach protest. Her face flushed in embarrassment as she picked the steel fork from the table.

Alexander watched Samantha as she dug the fork into the pasta and directed it towards her mouth.
