: Chapter 32

As I walk down the hallway I bump into Chantico. She looked shocked at first then she yells, "Girl, where the heck have you been?!" she brings me into an embrace.

I giggle and tell her, "Oh don't worry, wherever I was...I was safe".

"You sure? You don't look fine plus you smell a bit different," she says.

I was now getting anxious. "What are you trying to say Chantico? Do I smell good or bad?" I ask. "No no, you have someone else's scent on you," she says, "You smell like Ado..".

Before she finishes I shut her up, "Shhh, I'll explain". I drag her into a room and begin to explain.

"Ohhhhh," she says, "So he bit you?".

"Weren't you listening? Yes dummy," I reply.

"How did it feel. Sweet or painful?".

"Cut it out Chantico".

"Oh come on tell me".

"Go get bitten if you want to know," I tell her.

She scoffs and looks to the side. "I need to go find Blake," I tell her.

She looks at me and asks, "How are you going to explain all that to him?".

I didn't even know too, "If he asks I will tell him but if he doesn't I won't bring it up," I tell her.

"I think you should just tell him, he's your mate," she tells me.

"I don't know. He'll be broken, he can't find out Chantico. Promise me you won't tell him," I say holding her hand in mine but I don't think she was paying attention. She isn't even looking at me but behind me and she seemed anxious. "What are you looking at?" I ask as I turn around to find a confused Blake looking at me with curious eyes.

"What is it that I shouldn't find out?" he raises an eyebrow putting his arms over his chest.

I look at Chantico who was now frozen. She swallows hard and says, "I think I will excuse myself, this is not for me to be involved in". She exits the room leaving me and Blake inside.

I could feel tension blowing around us. "Luna...?" his voice commanding, "..tell me".

I didn't know how to tell him. He would be broken if he found out. I gather up all the courage and unbutton the first two buttons on my shirt. I tilt my head so he can see the bite mark. I look at his reaction and I wish I hadn't looked at his face. He looked sad, angry, I don't know. It was an expression I couldn't understand.

"Who..who did that?" he whispers.

I was now on the verge of tears. "A..Adonis did," I say, "Yesterday I somehow ended up at Adonis' palace and it was a full moon. He helped me to be safe from other vampires but he lost it and...bit me," I explain saying it as fast as I can to avoid him cutting me halfway.

He cups my cheeks wiping the tears that were falling down my cheeks. "Luna," he whispers with a hurt sorry look, "Why are you crying? Don't cry okay? It will be fine, I'm here, Chantico is here, and everyone is here for you. We will find a way to stop him," he speaks in a soft voice.

I bury my face in his chest as he wraps his arms around me. "I...I'm s..s...sorry," I say.

He makes me look at him and says, "Sorry for what? It's not your fault. It's mine. I didn't protect my Luna".

'What!' I say, 'Is he blaming himself?'.

"It's not your fault either Blake. You are a great mate," I say, "I love you".

He looks shuttled for a moment then a smirk appears on his face. He draws close to my face and puts his lips on mine giving me a soft kiss. This was just what I needed. We kept on and I felt my lungs getting hot as I had trouble breathing. The next thing I knew was that Minsi was taking over and so had Axel. I was knocked out.

I don't know what I expected when I awoke the next morning but hearing the sounds of the tree leaves rattling was suddenly the best sound ever and feeling the warm rays of the sun on my skin was a great relief. I could feel all my worries gone, I didn't know how but it was that feeling I've always wanted to feel. I try to get out of bed but my legs were painful. That's when I realize I had no clothes on.

'Oh no,' I say in panic, 'What happened yesterday?' I ask myself trying to recall everything but I couldn't.

'Calm down, geez. It was just the process of bonding,' Minsi tells me.

'Bonding!? This is your doing, isn't it?' I ask her frustrated, 'Now I'm going to be pregnant'.

'Stop being dramatic. We used protection,' she informs me.

Now I felt more embarrassed. I cover my face with my hands as I flushed with embarrassment. I felt Blake's arms tighten around me with a sleepy groan, gentle kisses slowly trailing up my shoulder.

"Morning beautiful," he mumbled.

I look away as I murmur "Morning alpha".

He pushes himself up with an arm, still on his side, and loomed over me, his black strands of hair slipping over his shoulders and laying against his chest. I looked up at him still in a daze. The sunlight streaming through the windows made his hair gleam, and his blue eyes illuminated beautifully.

My breath caught in my throat and I just stared up at him in awe, I'd known he was handsome before but our completed bond and the way the sunlight was framing him extenuated it. His light blue eyes were a lot brighter and not so shadowed, he looked more alive than he ever had.

His slender straight nose and arched brows, his thin red lips stretched into a sleepy smile, black hair glossier than ever. His strong muscular body is on the more slender side, with olive skin having a healthy glow.

"It was a good night, wasn't it?" he asks me and I look away because of the way he was looking at me.

"Don't bring it up," I whisper.

"Was I too hard on you," he says in a soft voice.

"How am I supposed to reply when I don't remember a thing!" I yell at him trying to sit.

It was painful but felt nice, "Now because of you I can't walk now!" I throw a pillow at him.

He chuckles and picks it up, "Says the one who caused all this. You are the one who tore my clothes off," he informs me.

I shut my mouth in frustration as I mumble some words, 'Minsi you're dead,' I tell her.

'I hope you know that if I die you die too,' she says with a smirk.

'Shut up!' I shout at her.

"Just help me to the bathroom," I whisper hanging my head low.

He walks up to me wrapped in a towel and he had brought me a bathing robe. He sits next to me and lifts my chin, "We are excused from school today until you can walk, and until your hickies are gone," he tells me lifting me from the bed.

We enter the bathroom and he helps me sit in the bathtub. "Thanks," I say, "You may leave".

He wanted to protest but I gave him a stern look that told him not to even try. He just pouts his lips and leaves. 'How cute," I say with a grin on my lips.

I start washing up and the hot water felt really good. After about more than 30 minutes I get out of the tub and I was glad I was able to walk. I go to the mirror and look at myself. I notice a mark that was by the side of my neck.

'That wasn't there was it?' I ask myself as memories started flashing in my head, 'What the f*ck had you done yesterday Minsi,' I growl at her.

'Getting you satisfied,' she replies.

'You.,' I say but I'm stopped by a voice shouting for me.

"Luna! It's been like an hour. Get out!" I hear Blake say.

I quickly dry myself as I wrap a towel around me. "You can go in now," I say as I put my arms over my chest. He tilts my head and smiles. He comes closer and kisses the mark he had put. I could also see his. A crimson crescent with three dark blue dots in the middle.

"It suits you," I say as I run my finger on it.

He smiles and says, "Given by a goddess after all".

I giggle as he lifts and spins me around. "Blake!" I yell and start laughing.

"I love you Luna!" he shouts at the top of his lungs. He places me down and I couldn't help but hug him. "I love you too my Alpha," I murmur as I kiss him on the cheek.

He smiles and brings me into an embrace. I wish we could stay like that forever but soon Adonis was going to come to get me and if we don't act quickly...I'll end up losing Blake.
