5): Dealing With The Bullies, Potter

"Haha Did you hear that!? Loony Luna thinks---" The girl was cut off by a voice sounding right behind them.

"What did you just call her?" Tanner asked his eyes unconsciously taking a dangerous light inside of them, his wand at his side as he looked at the randoms in front of him.

Luna's eyes that were looking downcast brightened the moment he showed up, Tanner for the moment ignored the two girls who were Hufflepuff and moved over to Luna. He gently brushed back her hair seeing the slap mark on her face, it made him frown as he looked it over, raising his wand he did a light healing spell on it.

"You came." She said with a lot of emotion in her voice, he bottom lip trembling some.

"Of course I came, that is what a husband does after all right?" He said with a smile while leaning over and kissing her on the cheek, she had other plans though as she planted a light kiss on his lips. He was only shocked for a moment before pulling back, smiling softly he turned to the girls who were shaking behind them.

"Luna run along to the tree we were suppose to meet at, I am going to have a little talk with these two for a moment." He said his smile was sweet, but to the two Hufflepuff girls it looked like the devil himself was looking at the two of them.

"Okay, don't be long. Lunch is soon, I really want some more Pudding." She said while brushing off the dirt from her skirt and skipping past the trees that they had pulled her behind.

Tanner with movements quicker then the other two could speak silenced the place while also casting a notice me not spell, he didn't want anyone to interrupt what he was going to do. Luna might know something he might do, but she didn't know the full extent of what he was going to do to them.

Silencing the girls so that they wouldn't plead he shot some Black family curses at them, the blonde hit the ground with silent screams as her skin boiled and turned red. Seeing what happened to her friend the other pissed her skirt while standing there shaking, it was obvious she was trying to say something but no sound was getting out.

Turning to her he cast another spell, nothing was happening on the outside but to her the inside of her body felt as if it was ripping itself apart. She reached trying to stop it but there was nothing that she could do, the pain was to bad for her to even react in a proper way other then trying to stop her insides from tearing apart.

Tanners eyes were blank as he watched them, he let it go on for another thirty seconds before stopping both spells, without a word he left the girls who passed out on the ground and went to Luna. The light returned to his eyes as he saw the light blonde hair girl sitting on a big rock while letting her legs swing back and forth.

"Hello Luna, how are you feeling?" he asked while taking her hand and sitting next to her.

She watched him a moment before smiling brightly and answering, "It is better now that you are back, when can we got to Lunch, I really want more pudding."

He laughed at that, "How about as a special treat all you have to eat or lunch is pudding this afternoon, we will worry about your meal tonight."

That got a big reaction from her as she hugged him tightly giggling into his chest, "Yes! That sounds like a great idea, this morning wasn't enough but now I can eat as much as I please now!"

He smiled stroking her hair, "Well then let's go get you that pudding then."

She giggled happily jumping off the rock and taking his hand, he did the same it was just a natural reaction for him now to take her and leading her around. Luna skipped while giggling every now and then following him back into the castle, they would just have to enjoy their time by the lake later, for now though it was time to get her Pudding.

"How did you manage to get it in your hair?" He chuckled while using a napkin to wipe the Vanilla pudding that was in her hair, it was hard to tell since it matched so well with her hair color.

All she did was giggle hearing him. Rolling his eyes he kept cleaning her as they sat by the black lake again, he could have used magic but she insisted that he did it the old fashion way.

And he did since he was wrapped around her finger.

As the two were just enjoying time with one another with Luna telling him all about the magical animals she was looking for they heard the approach of footsteps. Tanner expected to see a teacher coming towards them about what he did earlier today to those girls, instead it was the famous golden trio who were all looking right at the two of them.

"Yes?" He asked seeing as they stopped right in front of him.

Harry was the one who had the courage to talk, "Umm we were just wondering, is there anything you can tell us about Sirius Black. If he is coming after me, then I want to know all I can about him, no one wants to tell me anything other then the fact that he use to be friends with my parents before betraying them."

Luna giggled at that, "Silly people." she said getting confusing looks from everyone but Tanner.

He knew that sometimes her 'Loony' appearance was just an act, there was no way someone Loony could end up in Ravenclaw, she had a really intelligent mind, others just didn't see it. Tanner laughed a little too while tilting his head at Harry and the others, "Are you really sure you want to know?"

"Can't we do something else, there is no way he could know anything he is hanging with Loony after all." Ron muttered with a frown on his face, he said it quietly but everyone heard him.

Luckily for him Harry and Hermione were watching Tanner or they would have missed the rage that passed over his face, that got Hermione to move and pinch the boy before something could be done. Ron was dense but at least he was able to tell that everyone heard him, he at least looked a little embarrassed for what he said.

Tanner sighed, "Well I will tell you this Potter since I would rather spend my time with Luna then answering your questions so listen close cause after I say this you need to leave. Mainly cause I will hex your redhead friend if you stay longer," Seeing Harry nod he went on, "Alright so Sirius Black is the outcast of the Black Family, since he was the only one who has gotten into Gryffindor and spit on Pure-Blood traditions.

Him being an outcast was the biggest thing in the family, when asked to get behind the family as they joined Voldemort's fights he outright refused and took off. This caused his mother to disown him and cast him off the family tree tapestry, something that has only happen to one other Black Family member but that was cause she married a muggle man.

Now you tell me Potter, would a man who went against his own family and got kicked out because he chose not to believe in Pure-Blood rule really betray your family?" Tanner asked ending his little talk, he didn't even give them a chance to try and say something to him as he picked Luna up and walked off, the only sounds were her giggles as they got further away.

(Harry POV)

Harry stood there looking at the back of Tanner Black as he moved further towards the castle with a laughing Luna on his shoulder. He thought about the boys words as he watched him walk away, if Sirius was really all that he explained him to be then something was wrong, there was no way that he could betray his parents, especially if his father and the an were best mates.

Though looking over to Ron and remembering how he abandoned him when everyone believed he was the Heir of Slytherin then he wasn't so sure. It was all so confusing to figure out, his thoughts still kept going as he thought about what Tanner said though, did Sirius really do it?

Sighing he looked to his more reasonable friend Hermione who only gave him a sad look, "Sorry Harry, I with I could help more but without more facts or talking to someone who was their close friend or even just someone who knew them then I can't help. Everyone just seemed to write Sirius off."

Sighing again he nodded his head, "It is fine, I just really wish I knew more about them, then this wouldn't be so hard. Everyone is saying he is out and after me, but if that were really true then why didn't he attempt to kill me the night Voldemort went after my family, why did he run off to kill muggles and Peter instead."

Seeing as he wasn't going to get anymore answers from anyone he walked away while thinking, he really wished that he could just have a normal year at Hogwarts. He really didn't want to have to spend another year trying to survive at school, if he knew that his life would almost be taken each year then he would have rather stayed with his relatives.

Hermione watched him with a sad smile as he walked off, Ron though couldn't follow he was more worried about them wasting time they could be having doing something fun.
