53 Chapter 53 Boss fight

On the other side of the door , the team of warriors where greeted with a room about 500 meters wide and 100 meters tall with lava pit filling most part of the room while a sole beast stood 15 meters tall with his back in full view of the adventurers .

It looked like it's body was made up of black stone like scales with two pair of folded wings spanning about 5 meters and a tail in it's lower waist which spanned 5 meters from its body and was filled with spikes all the way till it's head , even after the Adventurers had all entered it didn't attack them but simply stood as if the warriors where simply not a threat to him even though they where 19 A rank adventurers .

The door finally closed with a loud thud leaving the warriors to face and conquer the boss or die trying , the 15 meter draconic beast finally turned around to face the humans who dared disturb his presence .

The mere movement of his body caused the ground to tremble in respect to the beast , opening it's fang filled mouth it spoke in a voice missed with growls to the warriors .

" Oh , you finally made it , I have been feeling quite bored since I got here and am already starting to itch for a fight.... to bad you barely count as appetizer , but I have been meaning to fight you the strong human warrior who could beat Lor rak , try to at least entertain me before I eat your caucus " , The beast said pointing to Zatiel .

They couldn't quite make it's appearance out before due to the beast not facing them but now they could clearly see that the beast almost resembled a dragon a creature spoken in legends before the Demon war , except those creature's where said to walk on four legs while the monster in front of them was walking on two legs and was slightly bent , and they where very powerful more powerful than what you would find in an A rank dungeon .

It had three protruding horns coming out from its head , and had a face which looked like a dragon , it had no weapon so the warriors could only assume that it fought without one .

It sprinted towards the warriors creating tremors and digging deep into the ground with every step , it moved with so much momentum that nothing could slow it down no matter the amount of spells sent it's way .

The warriors looked like ants ready to be squashed from the perspective of the draconic beast and he did just that bringing his hand down to squash the warriors .

Boom .

Even though the warriors managed to dodge the incoming attack , the shock wave which the attack generated was enough to send some of them flying and crashing into the wall and spilling a mouthful of blood , while others where not so lucky and had suffered internal injuries .

The A rank healer Selan spammed spell upon spell to heal the injured warriors which took a large amount of Mana from her .

' Just what kind of absurd strength is this , even with dodging the attack I was still sent crashing into the wall just by the force of the strength , if I receive a direct attack from that monster.... I will be dead for sure ' , Vastor thought before he felt the cooling sensation of being healed .

He wasn't one of the A rank adventurers with top notch defence , he didn't have much Mana to use in reinforcing himself so his defence was lackluster at best , and he had received a critical damage even with the healer spamming healing spells on him it will take at least 20 seconds before he would be able to join in to attack the beast , till then he was just sitting duck , and he prayed the draconic beast wouldn't come after him now that he was in this sorry state .

But thankfully for Vastor , Ghen ji was busy with satisfying his desire to fight to worry about him .

Boom .

Dodging another palm strike from the Draconic beast Avrion took a couple step back to stabilize himself before moving to attack the beast , he could hardly get any openings to attack the beast due to its destructive strength and any strike that he managed to land no matter how hard he tried could only do minor damage to the beast , but most of his team members where recovering from the attack inflicted by the beast and would need a while to regain themselves so he was simply buying time .

With the way beast attack and moved it was pretty obvious that it couldn't fly , or maybe due to the size of the boss room it couldn't use the wings behind it's back to its full capacity , but even without flight the draconic beast was proving impossible to slay , it simply shrugged off most of the attack heading it's way and focused solely on offense , more and more warriors kept getting injured even without receiving any direct hit from the monster and Selan the healer was already out of Mana if this continues a while more Selan would be totally out of Mana .

" Twin lightning peak " .

Zatiel shouted sending two lightning filled slashing the Ghan ji from behind and hitting him dead on its inner thigh with his sword , the Attack wasn't obstructed by those absurdly hard scales and he cut through the beast flesh leaving a open wound on Ghan ji's thigh .

" Aaaarrgghhh "

Ghan ji annoyed that the human had actually managed to wound him sent his tail like a whip towards Zatiel , the spiked tail traveled the distance and in a blink of a second reached his intended spot only to miss Zatiel by a few meters , but the same couldn't be said for the Adventurer behind him who wasn't fast enough to escape the deadly spiked tail whip .

The tail hit him squarely on the chest and killed him immediately before sending him flying like a broken kite smashing into the wall and shattering him in pieces .

The warriors felt their morale drop when they saw the kind of damage the beast could dish out , but they gritted their teeth and charged towards Ghan ji .

Ghan ji seeing this look on them was shocked that they still had the courage to fight him

" Haaahhhaaa , why do you even try to resist , you weak humans can't stop us your world would be ours soon enough , there is no need to break your bones for it " , Ghan hi said laughing .

" Aim for the spot without those scales , that is it's only weakness" , Zatiel adviced as he ran to draw the attack of Ghan ji .

The battle continued for another thirty seconds with more and more injuries pilling on the beast , the adventurers had started aiming for the spot on the Titan without scales and Ghan ji had already started receiving attack at a steady pace , but even though they had figured out his weak spot and started to attack it Ghan ji now payed more attention to defence which in turn made attacking him harder and already led to the death of two more adventurers .

In a span of a minute out of the 19 A rank warrior that entered the room only 16 remained with more in critical state .

" Over here you over grown lizard " , Vastor feinted an attack to draw Ghan jis' attention and leave him open .

Ghan ji fell the bait and tried to squash Vastor with a blow but was evaded by Vastor .

Zatiel seeing the opening sliced the beast in it's armpit making it realise a cry and jump back in pain .

" How dare you " , Ghan Ji shouted in rage .

The assault continued until a warrior tried to attack Ghan jis' exposed neck who didn't take it likely and sent a breath of flame towards the warrior burning him into ashes .

" It can breathe fire " , Mariposa shouted it shock .

" Enough of this madness , I have tolerated you humans enough " , Saying this the inactive wings on Ghan ji started to flap .

The mere use of his wings made the warriors shift back from him , to not be caught in what ever the beast wanted to do .

Ghan ji started to fly , and was soon out of reach of the adventurers .

" I will burn you all into ashes " , Ghan ji shouted before releasing fire from his lungs .
