The next day in school, while Max and Zheren were having their breakfast in the cafeteria, Evelyn one of the twin sisters approached their table carrying a tray of food. The boys both stared at her in confusion, especially Max who found her to be annoying and proud.

"Can I sit?" She calmly asked while standing close to an empty seat.

"Your choice!" Max blatantly replied and continued to eat as if she was nothing more than a pest.

Evelyn pouted and then took the seat opposite Max, she inwardly grinned and began to munch her good. Whilst she was eating, Max would unknowingly raise his head and glance at her briefly then lower his head again, this continued for some time until Zheren who was close to him noticed and gave him a slight push on the arm.

"Pretty right?" Zheren whispered to Max who glared at him and continued to eat, Zheren chuckled inwardly and decided to not say a word again.

'She is too pretty, damn!' Max thought to himself while eating, her red hair was neatly and smoothly packed up in a ponytail which made her face more visible unlike the last time he saw her, her eyes shone brightly like the moon and her cherries. . . So full and more visible than before. He could hardly take his eyes off them.

Evelyn felt his intense gaze on her and she could not help but giggle silently, though it was improper of him to stare lustfully at her, she didn't mind at all as long as she gets what she wants.

"I've got to run along, class will begin soon," She unhurriedly said after eating half of her meal and waited for Max to say something but the latter was silent until he was nudged by Zheren to say something to her.

"Yeah, bye!" Max simply replied without looking up.

Evelyn felt sad but didn't show it, she smiled as she stood up and while she packing the plates, Max suddenly looked at her and seeing the smile on her face, he felt shivers run through his spine.

'She smiled!'

Was the thought that crossed his mind as he immediately looked away to not attract his attention. Zheren noticed Max's sudden behaviour and waited for the girl to leave before asking him about it.

"I have never seen her smile before! No. . . She never smiled at all!" Max blurted out in answer to Zheren's question. Zheren laughed out loud while staring at Max, he could not believe that the Max he knew would one day be put in a situation where he would be confused about a girl.

"Do you know how kinda funny you look?" Zheren asked amidst his endless laugh. "If you like her, why don't you say? I mean, it seems like she has eyes for you."

Max upon hearing what Zheren said turned and looked at him, "Have eyes for me? No way!" He replied sternly. There was no way that girl could have eyes for him, it was sort of an impossible thing.

The boys seeing it was almost time for class rushed their food and left for the cafeteria. When they got to class, they were met by a pretty lady with good curves standing by the whiteboard, she glanced briefly at them and then focused her attention On the rest of the students.

As they sat down, Max looked around and saw the same look of confusion on the faces of his classmates, it could be said that they were confused as he was.

"My name is Becky and I am a new teacher here, today I will be taking you all on the topic of Demons... " The lady paused her speech as the class erupted in noise. The students voiced out their disgust for demons, some spoke of how ugly and terrifying demons look, some said they wished to see what a demon looked like while some believe that demons don't even exist, they only heard about them in fantasy books. The teacher smiled as she listened to the different opinions about demons and she could not help but shake her head.

Even Max felt tired and frustrated just hearing what his classmates were all saying, at the end, he could not blame them because of how ignorant and stupid they seemed to be.

After the noise had died down maybe because the students had nothing else to say, the teacher cleared her throat to gather their attention and when finally did, she began to talk again. "I see you all have diverse opinions on demons. Well, it's all wrong. Demons are real and they are among us...."

"Mam, hold on please," a female student said as she raised her hand. Seeing that the teacher signalled her to talk, the girl stood up. "Mam, but I have never seen a demon before and they are said to look horrible and scary," the girl said in a serious tone.

"My dear, you've never seen one because you are still young. You should not worry, one day I'll show you one," the teacher replied with a smile.

"Really?" The girl asked in excitement, she could not wait to see the demons that she had read about countless times in books.

"What's there to be happy about?" A male student asked in displeasure as he glared at the girl.

"It's not like they are great! Just some ugly blood-sucking monsters," another student chipped in and scoffed.

"Quiet down everyone!" The teacher said with a raised voice, completely shutting the students up. Then she turned to the girl and smiled again, "Yes, really! I'll show you one," she replied and looked in a certain direction.

Max who had his head lowered suddenly looked up, he could swear that he felt someone's gaze on him but after looking around, he didn't see anyone staring at him. He initially had his head placed on the table because he felt extremely bored listening to the student's viewpoints about demons, they were all saying trash that didn't mean anything to him and so he kept his head lowered and thought about other matters. Now, he was beginning to feel uneasy and he didn't know why. He looked at the teacher but he wasn't feeling anything unusual from her apart from her... Alluring curves and beauty.

'What am I thinking!' Max yelled inwardly and mentally punched himself, he couldn't believe he was lusting over their new teacher. But... "Evelyn is nowhere close to her," he said not knowing that Zheren heard him.

"Yeah, I concur! I bet many male teachers must have already been making plans to ask her out for dinner," Zheren added and smirked.

"Silence both of you!" The teacher warned while staring at them, from the look on her face, it seemed as though she heard what the boys were saying.

Max glanced at Zheren before grinning as well but the two boys dared not to say another word again until the boring class was over.

After the class which took two hours, the teacher left the class followed by some students who perhaps wanted to know where her office is. The class was almost empty apart from a few students who stayed behind, among these students were Max, Lizzy and Zheren who were seated together. Lizzy had a worried look on her face and Zheren was trying all he could to make her talk but it seemed like it wasn't working.

"Max, would you ask her to talk? I'm getting frustrated already," Zheren said with a tired expression while Lizzy pouted and looked away.

"Fine! Can you tell us why you look worried?" Max asked after seeing the look on Zheren's face.

"Yes, master... I mean Max, I will talk," Lizzy replied and lowered her head.

"You!" Zheren almost yelled at the girl. He turned and glared at Max, if not that he was his friend, he could have sworn for him.

"She's my sister..." Lizzy blurted out to the confusion of the two boys. Meeting their gaze, she swallowed hard and completed her statement. "Becky... She is my sister!"
