chapter 3: birth

Everything was so overwhelming, the sounds, the smells, the hands all over me. I even felt or maybe even sensed something that I couldn't explain, but I felt it in the people around me, even tough everyone's was different.

The first thing I noticed, was the fact that it was really cold. I felt the cold air rushing against my body, while the hands were passing me around. I didn't even realize that I was crying. The only thing I could see were vague images that looked like people.

I felt so overwhelmed, but then I felt a strange warmth engulf me. I looked at the two figures that were looking at me while holding me and each other in a group hug. I didn't even realize that I stopped crying.

I felt so comfortable. Their bodies were warm enough to make me feel relax. It felt like a was being hugged by two big and warm body pillows.

'These two people are definitely my parents.'

It was nice to feel the embrace of my parents. In my past life I ended up never knowing my parents. The only thing I know, was the fact that they left a note on the basket they put me, that said:" Plz care for this child, in the hopes that it will grow up healthy and become a successful lawyer in the future."

'I don't know why they wanted me to become a lawyer, but yeah I didn't. I ended up not even getting a future, but that doesn't matter anymore. I will now finally be able to live a life with my parents in it.'

I then felt myself getting tired.

'Stupid baby status.' Was the only thing I could think about before dozing off.

I woke up and the first thing I saw were a group of people looking at me trough a glass.

I then saw the dude that was hugging me the other time, my father, punch the guy.

It was kind of cool hearing them talk. I didn't understand them, so it all sounded funny. I also just didn't hear a lot of the things they said. Definitely at those moments when they all started talking at the same time. It was very confusing, but amusing at the same time. I was just comfortable lying on my back, looking at everyone.

I was then carefully grabbed out of, what I presume was my crib, by some random person.

'Why did you grab me? I was just getting comfortable. And who is the one screaming the whole time?! Oh wait, that's me.'

???:"╎ℸ ̣ 's feeding ℸ ̣ ╎ᒲᒷ

She then carried me to another person that I did remeber, my mother. My mother took me in her arms and we made eye contact.

She then shifted me a little, bringing me closer to her bre-.

Yuki:' Wait, don't tell me that what I think is going to happen, is going to happen! No, wait, stop it, I'm to old for this! NO PLEASE NOOO'

I didn't even realize that I started crying even more now.

I woke up in my mothers arms. She was talking with the people around us. At first I was attentively listening to their conversations, trying to level up my hearing skill or at least get a translation skill or something like that, but after some time I got bored.

So I tried to count how many people were around me by sensing their chakra. Yep, I already came to the conclusion that the thing I felt inside all of these people was chakra. So I thought that I could maybe get a skill by doing this.

I closed my eyes and tried to feel the chakra around me.

'Oh I feel something. Okay let's go, so one, … two, oh and three. Yeah I think that that's it.'

I opened my eyes and looked, while counting the people around me.

' One two tree four five six seven eight, nine if I include my mom. I guess I should try again, but harder this time.'

This time, I really tried to focus. I relaxed my body and mind and slowly started breathing in and out. *4 sec inhale, 7 sec hold, 8 sec exhale* After a min, it felt like I was floating in a pool filled with hot water. I didn't feel my body anymore, only the chakras around me.

'One' The first chakra I sensed was my mom's, because she was the closest to me. Her chakra felt like a warm cozy fire that could burst into a raging forest fire. 'I should probably never make her mad.'

'Two' This one felt like a fully grown fire that has reached it's peak.

'Three' It felt like a warm piece of ice?. The weirding thing was that I could feel another chakra in this person. 'So four?'

'five' This one felt very similar to my mom's, but it was a little wilder.

'Six' This one felt like a fire locked in a glass cage that's suppressing the fire. 'Kind of depressing.'

'Seven' It felt like a cold small fire, but I could tell that it was actually a lot fiercer and bigger.

'eight' Another one that felt like cold fire, but this one was a little warmer.

'Nine' It felt like a lightning rod, but controlled.

'Ten' It felt like a frozen fire that's still burning brightly.

'Hehe, got it'

I then opened my eyes and saw everyone look at me. My father was standing right in front of me, staring me down.

Yuki:' Do they know what I did? Damn it! Am I going to be found out?'

???:"╎ℸ ̣ ⎓ᒷꖎℸ ̣ ꖎ╎ꖌᒷ ⍑ᒷ ∴ᔑᓭ checking 𝙹⚍∷ chakras."

I tried to push his face out of the way, I had to use all the power this body could muster up, just to end up only tapping his face. Even worse is the fact that I ended up looking like a playful baby wanting to play.

They then started talking again, like nothing happened. I kept staring at them, but after some minutes I realized that they had already forgotten what happened.

They kept talking, so I eventually got bored and looked at my notifications. I then realized that I never even checked out my quest rewards.

'How could I have forgotten this?!'

I opened my oldest notification.

All the people around me looked at me, trying to figure out why I was screeching all of a sudden. My mother even started feeding me again, which wasn't fun.

Yuki:' Oi Who are you? Are you the butler AI?'

Butler AI:" Yes I am sir. Anymore more questions?"

Yuki:' Yes, when did you wake up? Were you there the whole time? Why do you have an accent and are you a man? What even are you really?'

Butler AI:" First answer I woke up the moment you completed your quest sir. Second answer yes, I was there, watching in the background, waiting, for my moment to help explain something. Third, why not. Fourth yes. lastly, at the end of the day, I am simply one hell of a butler"

The moment he said that I recognized him.

Yuki:' Wait? Are you Sebastian from Black Butler?! How are you even able to become an actual anime character?'

Sebastian:" First, you're not right nor wrong sir. I might have Sebastian's physical appearance, even abilities and characteristics, but I am completely loyal to you sir. I am not able to do anything that goes against your commands or that can harm you in anyway sir. I even have your memories sir. Second, I'm not. I am actually my own being sir."

Yuki:' Please stop calling me sir all the time. Just call me Yuki.'

Sebastian:" Understood Yuki."

Yuki:' Now I forgot what I was actually to do.'

Yuki:' Oh, thank you.'

I opened my notification and saw it. Sweet sweet new skill and stuff, oh how much I love you.

After finishing my "meal" my mom cared me to, what I think is the salon.

'Wait have I been in this house the whole time? It's so big, I thought it was a hospital. I'm going to grow up with a golden spoon in my mouth. Haha hahaha!'

The people I saw yesterday were still here or maybe they just came back.

'What the hell? Do they live here or something or are they just very good family friends? Either way, don't they have to go back home?'

They all started talking, while I was there just staring at them. I started observing my father, I looked at his face. He had short, straight black hair styled in an undercut curtain, as well as narrow, intimidating dull gray eyes with dark circles under them and a deceptively youthful face. He was quite short, but his physique was well-developed in musculature.

He kind of looked like Levi, 'Wait! Isn't that just Levi??'

I started observing him, looking for similarities between him and Levi from AOT. I wanted to know how strong he was, how fast he was, how durable and even more.
