Jared Vs The Mysterious Woman

Elsewhere

"Stupid, stupid, stupid, how can he be still stupid after all of these years?" said the mysterious woman shrouded in shadows as she stood up on the dead bodies of several monsters, "even after all of these years, he could not even recognize my voice even if I hid myself, there should be this flicker of recognition from him, but all I got was nothing"

The woman said as she strolled forward, she was not even upset that Jared refused her offer of joining forces, but was furious because he did not recognize her.

She thought that no matter how she appeared mysterious, he was going to recognize her at first glance but to her disappointment, when she looked into his eyes, she did not see anything in them, just a determined man focused on his quest, even after all of the memories they shared.

As she moved deeper into the darkness, the shadows seemed to cling to her like a second skin, wrapping her in their embrace as if offering solace for her wounded pride. But she paid them little heed, her focus fixed solely on the task at hand.

With each passing moment, the ruins revealed more of their secrets, each crumbling wall and weathered statue a testament to the ancient civilization that once thrived within these walls. Yet amidst the echoes of the past, there lingered a palpable sense of danger, a reminder that she was not alone in her quest.

But the woman was undeterred, her resolve unwavering as she pressed forward into the unknown. She knew that the Primordial Resin lay hidden somewhere within these ancient halls, and she would stop at nothing to claim it for herself.

"Just wait a little longer, baby, I will be back and I will reunite you with your brother and father"

Back To Jared

As Jared ventured deeper into the ruins, his heart pounded with anticipation as he neared his ultimate goal: the Primordial Resin. He could feel its presence calling out to him, a beacon of hope in the darkness that promised to save his son's life.

With each step he took, the air grew heavier with the weight of ancient secrets, the shadows seeming to coil around him like tendrils of smoke. Yet Jared pressed on, his determination unyielding as he followed the faint trail that led him ever closer to his prize.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity of searching, Jared stumbled upon a chamber bathed in an eerie, ethereal light. At its center, nestled within a pedestal of stone, lay the object of his quest: the Primordial Resin. Without hesitation, Jared reached out to claim the resin, his fingers trembling with anticipation as he prepared to take it into his possession.

But before he could grasp it, a voice echoed through the chamber, freezing him in his tracks.

"Stop right there," the voice commanded, its tone firm and authoritative.

Startled, Jared spun around to find himself face to face with the mysterious woman from before, her form shrouded in shadows as she emerged from the darkness.

"You are still here, I thought you would have been long gone," said Jared frowning while looking at the woman.

"Heh, it will take more than what this ruin threw at me to stop me from getting to the Primordial Resin," said the mysterious woman as she also stared down at Jared.

Jared frowned as he looked at the Primordial Resin behind him and back at the woman, "Then you will have to get through me before you can have the Primordial Resin" he said lightening dancing around him.

"It is going to be a truly difficult fight but without your speed, I have a chance of battling it with you, even if I cannot win, I will at least get what I want one way or the other," she said creating a sword out her shadow.

Jared's frown deepened as he watched the woman create a sword out of shadows, her movements fluid and graceful despite the tense atmosphere between them. He knew that he was no match for her in terms of sheer power, but he refused to back down without a fight.

"I won't let you have it," Jared said, his voice firm and resolute. "The Primordial Resin belongs to my son, and I'll do whatever it takes to protect it."

The woman's eyes narrowed as she took a step forward, the shadowy sword gleaming in the dim light of the chamber.

"Very well," she said, her tone tinged with determination. "If that's how you want it, then so be it. But don't think for a moment that I'll go easy on you, just like you, I also have children to save"

With that, she lunged forward, her sword slicing through the air with deadly precision. Jared's heart raced as he summoned the power of the storm, lightning crackling around him as he prepared to meet her head-on.

Their blades clashed in a shower of sparks, the sound of metal against shadow echoing through the chamber. Jared fought with all his might, his movements fueled by a desperate need to protect his son at all costs.

But the woman was a formidable opponent, her skill with the shadow sword matched only by her cunning and agility. She danced around Jared's attacks with ease, her movements unpredictable and fluid as she sought to gain the upper hand.

Despite his best efforts, Jared found himself being pushed back by the relentless assault. He gritted his teeth, his muscles straining with the effort of keeping up with her relentless pace.

But even as the battle raged on, Jared refused to give up hope. He knew that the fate of his son hung in the balance, and he would fight to the bitter end to ensure his safety.

With a final surge of determination, Jared redoubled his efforts, his blows raining down upon the woman with unbridled ferocity. And though the outcome of the battle remained uncertain, he knew that he would give everything he had to protect what mattered most to him.
