Chapter 49

Just when Julia was like a cat on a hot tin roof not knowing what to do, they heard a furious voice roaring in their direction.

"Who are you? Stop right there! You’d better not escape!"

Ashton ignored that person. His focus was all directed onto Julia for fear that he might have accidentally hurt her just then.

To their surprise, a few men in black suits and dark sunglasses, somehow resembling gangsters or bodyguards, blocked their way.

Ashton furrowed his brows. "Get out of my way!"

With a deep and cold voice, one tall man in a black suit among them said. "My boss is looking for you. You can't leave yet!"

Seeing the group blocking their way, Julia heaved a sigh of relief. That said, she was worried Ashton would have a conflict with them, so she held Ashton's hand at once and hurriedly comforted him. "Ashton, don't fight with them. Anyway, there is no trace or even a dent on their car. All we need is to explain it clearly."

Ashton lowered his head to glance at Julia.
