My Marvel Agency

After cursing Captain Marvel 2, a young man from Earth dies and transmigrates into the MCU with an Agency System. He accepts commissions from major characters and receives rewards. --- It's as simple as that. I am reading and translating, so don’t expect romance or harem elements. This story isn’t finished yet, so it will take time. I change names and some other settings to spare you from any suffering. English isn’t my first language, yada yada, and I don’t own anything, yada.

Chapter 11: Massacre

In the Golden Triangle, a helicopter slowly descended while a rope was thrown down. Shortly after, a figure grabbed the rope and slid down swiftly—it was Edward, coming to rescue Vanessa.

After the helicopter departed, Edward took out a map, confirmed the direction, and began to move forward.

On the other side, atop the Wilson Tower, Bullseye looked at Kingpin and asked, "Boss, are you sure Ed can really rescue Miss Vanessa?"

"We have to trust him. Besides, I can't think of any better way. Are we really going to hand over our longtime customers to some lowly drug lord?" Kingpin replied angrily.

"Boss, stay calm. But I think it's wise to be prepared for all possibilities."

"You're right. Find a way to capture all of Khun Sa's people in our territories. If he wants war, I'll give him a war!" Kingpin smirked.

Never underestimate Kingpin's power—his influence spans across the globe, with a complex network involving high-level officials from various countries.

Because of this, he has no shortage of enemies. If he decides to go to war, he's fully capable of sparking a third world war. This isn't a joke; Kingpin's power is truly terrifying. Otherwise, the US authorities wouldn't tolerate his audacity, but they've been unable to deal with the aftermath of confronting him.

Meanwhile, using his extraordinary physical abilities, Edward finally reached Khun Sa's military camp under the cover of night. This was just one of Khun Sa's camps, as his opium plantations spanned the entire Golden Triangle. To protect these operations, his camps were heavily fortified.

Each camp housed thousands of regular soldiers, accompanied by tanks and several armed helicopters. This deterred local warlords from engaging in open conflict with him.

Standing on a towering tree outside the camp, Edward's exceptional vision and night vision capability allowed him to proficiently observe the distribution of forces within. Once fully prepared, instead of Roland's pistol, Edward pulled out two Glock 17 pistols equipped with suppressors. After all, Roland's pistol couldn't be fitted with a suppressor.

"The hunt begins," Edward whispered softly.

With a light leap from the towering tree, he free-fell, adjusting his body mid-air, rolling forward as he landed to mitigate the impact. For an ordinary person, such a maneuver would likely result in broken legs, but Edward had undergone three enhancements, making it akin to jumping down a 30-centimeter step for him.

Soon, Edward continued to advance under the cover of night, taking out various hidden sentries in the jungle along the way.

However, Edward was unaware that these sentries needed to report their status periodically to avoid situations like the current one. When no response came from the sentries, the camp immediately sounded the alarm. Searchlights activated, scanning 360 degrees.

Seeing this, Edward no longer remained hidden. He directly pulled out his pistols and aimed at the searchlights, rapidly firing to quickly disable them. But others spotted Edward's position by the gunfire's flash and immediately began suppressing fire.

However, Edward swiftly evaded bullets with his incredible speed and retaliated. Soon, the soldiers on the watchtowers were killed, and those below, caught in the crossfire, heard only the screams of their comrades followed by the thud of bodies falling.

This terrified some of them, who shouted, "Sniper! Sniper!"

All soldiers sought cover, providing Edward with a chance to catch his breath.

However, Edward felt it wasn't enough. He aimed his gun directly at his own head. As the bullet fired, Edward died—but his superhuman physiology allowed him to instantly revive, his body returning to peak condition. He then resumed his massacre.

His elusive marksmanship, utilizing various solid objects to ricochet bullets and hit enemies behind cover, was particularly effective. After approximately half of the soldiers were killed, those remaining finally regained their senses and rushed to start tanks and armed helicopters. They had lived comfortably for too long and had almost forgotten how to fight.

But even with tanks and armed helicopters, they were no match for Edward. Roland's pistol had tremendous penetration power—even tank armor was easily pierced, not to mention the armor of armed helicopters.

After an entire hour passed, Edward finally cleared out the entire camp, leaving only the camp commander.

However, Edward did not emerge unscathed. His body was covered in wounds, soaked in blood, as he approached the commander step by step. The commander was so scared that he involuntarily leaked in his pants.

"This feeling sucks," Edward muttered, then aimed his gun at himself again. As the shot rang out, Edward once again committed suicide. Yet soon after, to the commander's incredulous gaze, Edward revived and continued walking towards him.

"Tell me Vanessa's location, or be prepared to be clapped by me."

The commander remained silent for a moment, trembling, and then reluctantly gave the address to Edward. Afterward, Edward turned and left. However, as he departed from the camp, without looking back, he fired a shot that precisely hit a shell in the ammunition depot, engulfing the entire camp in flames.

The commotion naturally attracted the attention of other camps, not only Khun Sa's but also other warlords.

Upon learning that one of Khun Sa's camps had disappeared within an hour, everyone was shocked and began speculating on who could be responsible.

Khun Sa's initial reaction upon hearing the news was to suspect Kingpin's people. However, upon further thought, he realized Kingpin wouldn't act so foolishly, especially since Vanessa was in his hands. This had to be someone trying to provoke a conflict between them.

"General, this must be Kingpin's doing. Just kill that woman directly!" Khun Sa's deputy stepped forward and suggested.

"No, there's something fishy about this. The perpetrator might be aiming to provoke a war between Kingpin and me. First, capture the group who attacked the camp!" Khun Sa decided.

"Yes, General!" The deputy stood up and saluted, then began directing the troops. Especially the camp where Khun Sa resided, nearby camps abandoned their positions and gathered there to protect Khun Sa.

As for whether this Khun Sa was real or a decoy, that remained unknown.
