"Don't you think that you over reacted a little with your friend, Femi?" Auntie Ummi asked.
I shook my head a little, my brows furrowed in confusion after I had taken a sip of the hot cocoa that Ummi had made for me. I had already narrated to her all that had taken place before my coming here at her house. I had told her all that had happened.
"She is your friend, you should have listened to her cause she is your friend and has had her own share of troubles. If you had done so, all of these wouldn't have happened." Ummi went on to explain.
"So, you're saying that it's all my fault?" I asked.
She nodded in agreement, "Yes, it's all your fault. Just because someone kissed you doesn't mean that they like you. Even Judas kissed Jesus and yet it was a kiss of betrayal."
That, I had to agree with. She had a point on the kissing part, but I had thought that she would take my side on this whole thing, to be honest.
