Cried herself to sleep.

Lee residence.

Surprised by Jinjing's return, her parents were absolutely delighted. Mama Lee, cooked all of her favorite dishes for dinner, while papa Lee had a lot to talk about. The loving family of three, shared a meal full of love, laughter and banter after a very long time.

Tired from all the drama during the day and the travel back to city B, Jinjing retired early to her room. Even though after returning, she accessed her room for a shower, but she did not give it a careful look. Now that she was done spending time with her parents, she scanned around and noticed that everything was as it was five years ago.

Mama Lee had maintained her room clean. She walked in to her closet and found all her clothes still hanging there neatly. Running her hands through them, her gaze fell on a red piece of clothing. The same red gown which she wore for the fresher's party. She brushed her hand over it. Taking it out, she held it close to her nose trying to breath in his fragrance. But, it had been a long time and now the dressed only smelled of camphor.

Saddened, she fell to the floor, balling the gown close to her chest and cried her heart out.

She missed him dearly. Even though she maintained an unperturbed stance, she secretly hoped and prayed for him to find her and make up to her for all this time.

Every passing second of the years apart, had been excruciatingly painful for her. She longed for him, his hug, his warmth, his kisses. The very thought of him showering his love on someone else would stab at her heart.

After a long time, Jinjing wiped off her tears and stood up steadily. She hung the dress back and silently went to her bed. She lay lifeless in her bed, sleep clearly avoiding her eyes.

Staring at the ceiling, she reminisced the last kiss she shared with Liang. She gently traced her finger on her lips as if trying to feel him.

Don't know when but, she finally fell asleep.

The next morning,

Since Jinjing was restless the entire night, she slept in the next day. When Mama Lee found that Jinjing did not make her way down for breakfast, she worriedly went up to her room. Mama Lee saw that Jinjing was still asleep. As it was already bright and sunny outside, she decided to wake her darling daughter up.

"Jinjing honey, wake up. Time for breakfast." Mama Lee said while drawing the curtains open.

The sunlight seeping in to the room, finally woke Jinjing up. Mama Lee saw that Jinjing's eyes were slightly red and swollen. Much to her expectation, her daughter had cried herself to sleep.

Lovingly caressing her head, she asked "do you still love him?"

She looked in utter surprise at her mother.

Ever since, the engagement, her parents did not for once question her about anything. They silently supported their daughter. This was the first time her mother asked her about Liang.

In view of the close bond she shared with her parents, Jinjing did not hide her true feels from Mama Lee. She nodded in agreement. Taking a deep breath, Mama Lee queried "what do you plan to do now?"

Jinjing did not reply to her mother's question because she did not have an answer to it.

Ever since she walked away from Liang, she only kept herself busy so as to not think about him. Even though he was not physically present in her life but, he filled up her mind and her heart to the brim. Unbeknownst, her life revolved around him and now she did not know what to do.

She stared blankly for a couple of minutes until, Mama Lee patted on her shoulder to get her attention.

"hun!!! Papa wants to have breakfast together before he leaves for work."

Jinjing nodded and followed her mother down to the dining room.
