Meeting Carlisle and Esme/ Immorality

The next day I woke up alone. I knew she had to go because my parents would be coming home early today maybe before I go to school.

"Zane, wake up!" Yelled my mom from down stairs. I said and thought 'Or right now.' I got up in my boxers and looked over to the corner and saw the spot had dried up but still had a sweet smell to it.

I got up and stretched my body before getting out a light gray T-shirt, black pants and a black jacket. I got some black high top vans and went to the bathroom.

I took a shower, brushed my teeth washed my face and put on my clothes. After giving a nod of approval I walked down stairs to the table. I saw the food was eggs, biscuits, sausage, and bacon with different flavor syrup.

"How was you meeting?" I asked my parents who looked worn out. I could guess they have just got back and didn't sleep yet.

"It was tiring. A group of old people dragging us into their rivalry problems with other companies. Though we did pass time by playing these games you have on the phones." My mom said as she perked up saying the last part.

I looked over to my dad who had a frown on his face. "What happened to you?" I asked. He glanced at me before looking back at his plate and said "Those asses kept eying my wife and they had the nerve to push some of their work on me now I have to have damn report ready by Sunday."

He stabbed the plate saying Sunday and I went wide eyed. 'Jealous fucks. Then again can't blame them she still looks like she is entering her thirties.' I thought.

"Can I help with a report." Mia said in a happy and hopeful tone. It pulled at my heart strings that some guy is going to take my sister away one day. My dad finished his food and took her to his office saying "Yup let's go finish the reports. You'll be my motivation."

Me and mom were staring at earthed and she started laughing "Well I'll go be motivation as well. Make sure you get to school on time." She said walking back upstairs after putting her plate in the sink. I followed soon after and got my motorcycle and drove to the Cullens house.

The drive wasn't long and when I already texted Alice I'm on the way. Ran to me when I got off the bike and pulled me in for a kiss on her tip-toes.

(Change her height to 5'0 should be like medium but still in Alice range right?)

"Good morning Zane." She said with a smile and a pulled me into her house "My parents said they could meet you right now since we could be a few minutes late." I smiled and said "Good morning to you too pixie."

We got in her house and I saw everyone doing there own thing mainly cuddling. They at least spare me a glance and nodded with me doing the same. I turned toward Carlisle and Esme who were leaving the kitchen probably checking the blood bags.

"Hellos Mr and Mrs. Cullen, my name is Zane Starling nice to meet." I said with my hand out and a smile. Carlisle took my hand and shook it while Esme hit my shoulder and said "It's fine call me Esme. I do have question though are you sure you want to be a vampire you could think about it more."

I held my smile and said "I'm sure Alice already told you that my parents would be happy about me ended up with someone I love for eternity if they don't ask for immortality themselves. I do however don't want to be a vampire. For two reasons."

Everyone stopped and looked at me intently. "One is because I found a way to keep being a human and be immortal and the second is because I promised Alice we would have another cake tasting party every two weeks with my blood."

The looked surprised and looked at Alice who was looking at the ground smiling. "Alice you drank human blood. You-." I cut Carlisle off and said "It was my idea Carlisle. Yesterday we took Mia, my little sister out to get candy and she wanted to know what it tasted like."

I continued "So, I used the control over my body and mind to remember how some skittles tasted and simulated that taste in my blood so she could taste it as well. When we got to my place we made a lot of cakes for me to taste and simulate for her to taste."

They looked at me with their mouths open and Eyes wide. "So you have control over your body and mind but used it for food tasting?" Emmett asked me. I just shrugged and said "It was worth it." They gave a light chuckle and Esme asked "You said you found a way to stay human and be immortal. Could you explain how?"

Everyone perked up even Alice and definitely Carlisle. Him being a doctor made him more interested in this. "Well my control over my body goes all the way to the molecular structure of my body. Aging is basically your DNA strands dying and withering away since old age makes your natural regeneration slow or stop completely. Your DNA strands would stop being made and they decay over time till your dead. I can make my DNA strand always strong and in perfect shape while making them stronger and my healing ability will always make new DNA and even if it didn't I can make my body do it by my command. I can do the same for the rest or my body making it so that even hundreds of years later I would look the same as now. Resulting in self-made immortality."

They was starting at me with the same open moth and wide eyes, all but Emmett who had a huge grin on his face and Carlisle who had a smile on his face. They came out of their stupor when Alice said "Ok, let's go to school were more than a few minutes late." She said checking her imaginary watch.

We all say goodbye and leave out the house with me and Alice getting onto my motorcycle and driving off to school. "My boyfriend's a genius." She said kissing my cheek. I answered smugly and said "Of course look at me I'm the smartest man in the world."

She laughed and we kept going to school. Edward however was already there because he came with Bella as they were officially a couple after the little woods event. When I showed up with the rest of the Cullens and Alice attached to my hip we got more attention than usual and it was starting to get disturbing.

We got into the school building we're we had to reluctantly split up. I was walking with Rosalie to home room/ first period and she said "I wanted to know can you take vampire with your strength or are you just brain strong." I smirked and said "Yup, take on a few at a time, but I never fought one so I would have to get use to them and their speed first I can take their hits though I'm not saying I will."

She seemed intrigued and raised an eyebrow and said "Maybe you and Emmett could spare or you and Jasper since he use to be a soldier but Sierra always has him."

I gave a nod and we proceeded to class were our boredom began till we met with our mates or lunch.
