3 Alice and a little talk

I woke up not to an alarm clock but to my mom carrying my sister. She started talking for me to wake up and said "Zane, wake up you have school today." As she said that I woke up and got out the bed in boxers.

"Ok, Ok we're is the school anyway?" I sleepy asked. She just said she'll text it to me when I gets ready. My sister was pouting the whole time. It was cute so I didn't mind it and got some clothes while moving towards the bathroom to take a shower.

As I'm looking at myself in the mirror I thought 'Why did sung-Jin-woo have to be so good looking but so dense.' I looked at my chiseled body then turned and looked at my scar.

'Well let's get this day over with so I can do some more research on genetics.' I thought as I left the bathroom in a black short sleeve hoodie with a pair of ripped black jeans and Jordan twelves.

[I don't really care when they were out so roll with it.]

My hair wouldn't work with me today so it was messy, though I didn't mind it. I got to the garage and got the keys for my Kawasaki motorcycle and went back to the table were food was waiting to be devoured.

"You nervous Zane, you know with being the new kid and all." Asked my dad with a shit eating grin. I put a thinking expression and said "Nope not at all. I fell like this year will be very exciting for me."

He hummed and went back to eating as did everyone else. Mia was bugging mom about going with me but she was just told she wasn't old enough resulting in a pouty Mia for the rest of breakfast.

After saying goodbye I got to my bike and put the helmet on. I then drove out of the garage with music playing through my ear buds. One thing I got as a bonus is that music from 2020 was out and I was enjoying Pop Smoke right now as I drive down the street with the directions to the school on my phone.

I parked my bike and made my way to the front office to check in. The students were already inside the building and classrooms so I didn't get much attention just some stares here and there. I went to the front desk and greeted the office lady.

"Hello, excuse me. I'm Zane Starling the transfer student. I was asking for my timeline." The people who worked in the office acknowledged my presence and said "Yes Mr. Starling, here you are your first class is down the hall on your right. Here is a map. I hope you like our school." Said a woman with a practiced smile.

I just nodded and started walking to my locker that was assigned to me. I put my stuff in and found there was already the school books inside it. I just thought they put it in there because my parents might have gave the school some money.

I continue down the hall with my books in one hand and my other in my pocket. I was looking around and the school was really just like the movie nothing different other than the floors actually being cleaned unlike schools on my earth.

I got to the classroom and the teacher told me to come in and introduce myself. I walked in and the room quickly got quite and I introduced myself.

"Hi, my name is Zane Starling and I just moved from Alabama to Forks yesterday." I said with a neutral face while scanning the classroom.

'I guess Jin-Woos unawareness around normal things is rubbing off on me.' As I was think this My eyes caught something rather unexpected. I had a period with Rosalie. It was unexpected but I didn't show it.

My thoughts were obstructed when the teacher told me to sit next to her. While I was thinking this the class was whispering about me and some were just blushing. Not like I could blame them but I didn't hate it either.

I took the empty seat next to her and extended my hand. "Nice to meet you Ms. Cullen." She raised an eyebrow slightly but took my hand and shook it.

"It's Rosalie and nice to meet you too Zane."

I gave a nod and class started. I already knew what was being taught so I just started answering problems page after page. Till I heard Rosalie mutter a "woah".

I turned to her and saw that her desk was perfectly neat and tidied up. I put on a small smile and said "A perfectionist." She shook her head and said "No I just like staying clean. Also how fast you were flipping the pages in the book kept making my pencils shift and roll.

I put on a weak smile and said "My bad, but I already know this so I'm passing time by answering more problems." We start having a whole conversation but it was whispered. We talked till the bell rang signifying class had ended.

We said our goodbyes and I was thinking 'I thought she would be more reserved but I'll take it.' I went about the next two classes the same till it was time for lunch.

[Cafeteria]

I walked in after the Cullens did which was all there besides Edward. I could hear the people start whispering about who they thought looked better between me and the males in the Cullen family. As I'm getting my lunch which was a normal salad with a little Jungle Juice I felt someone intensely.

I turned my head back to see a certain little pixie looking at me in a daze with a bright smile on her face.

When we made I contact I stopped walking and looked at her. She had honey colored eyes letting me know she hadn't eaten in a while, her complexion was pale like most people in Forks. Her lips were full and were strawberry pink making them look like soft pillows wanting to be kissed.

Even though she was sitting down she was noticeably smaller by a margin. Her Assets were perked and her figure was slim.

Even though I could trick my mind to hide my emotions THIS was something way deeper than the brain it was simply my soul clawing at me to get closer and yelling that I would be happier with her.

'Woah, this mate bond thing isn't playing around. But wow even though she looked great in the movies it just didn't compare to vampires in reality. Look at that smile she's not even trying to hide it.'

I left my thought and VERY reluctantly turned my head after giving a light smile and a nod. I was so focused on her that I missed the girl Jasper was with. (We'll get to that later)

I got my lunch and found an open table to sit at were I leaned back and started back thinking about evolving my DNA.

'Well first I need to know if it's even possible and the risks. What if I grow some extra appendages like a tail or animal ears that can't retract.' I thought while taking bites of my salad which was surprisingly fresh even for my enhanced taste.

I then thought 'But if this does work my whole body could take on some aspects from the animal kingdom. If I don't grow more appendages I might have to worry about the more primal side of the human coming out.'

I just shrugged it off telling myself if that happens I'll just work on my control more. I was suddenly pulling from my thought by the oddly quiet room and the energetic and smooth voice of Alice who pat my shoulder to get my attention.

"Hi, I'm Alice Cullen step sister of Rosalie Cullen nice to meet you." She said excitedly. I pulled a chair that was on the left of me and said with a smile "I'm Zane Starling nice to meet you, pixie."

The whole cafeteria blew up into a loud discussion with people talking to other people tables away from them and people running from table to table. I swear I heard some call another person boss. Me and Alice looked at each other and laughed a bit before I gesture to the door at the exit.

We had about ten minutes left of lunch and Alice agreed we talk outside on one of the benches. We get up to leave and I give another nod with a smile to the Cullen table and left not before walking past the supposed "popular kids". When we walked past they muttered something about Alice being weird. I felt an unusual anger at them an remembered their faces both girl and boys it was four of them.

Alice smile lowered some and I didn't know how close we were so I just looked down at her and rubbed her head like you do with every sad short girl (In anime). She looked at me with a pout and said "I'm not a kid."

She took my hands off her head but was still holding it. It must be because of her amplified feelings or because she's really bold. I thought with a goofy smirk.

We made small talk just about getting to know each other. I teased her about her height because she was 4'10 compared to my 6'3 I was like a giant to her. We talked about what we could with those ten minutes which was mainly about our hobbies.

Our time was up and my boring class time started again with me not having any time with the Cullens than that. The school day ended and I saw the group I ran into with Alice and lunch. I put on a mischievous grin and and walked over to them.

I draped my arms around two of the boys shoulders saying "Yo, to let's go for a walk. Yeah?" It wasn't a question as I dragged them with me under their protest. I turned back to see the Cullens looking at me with smirks and Alice a smile.

I gave a small wave and turned back. I took them around a corner and shoved them into a wall with no strength. I looked at them with the devils grin and said "You mind repeating what was said at lunch."

They looked like they didn't know what I was talking about so I put some force on their shoulder and said "I believe you call Alice weird right." My voice was deadly and I stepped on their feet making it sound like Doritos being crunched.

They started yelling but it was muffled when I put my hands over their mouth and said "From now on why don't you just stop talking when I'm around, ok,great."

I then left without letting them respond and saw the Cullens looking at me in slight shock while Emmet had a goofy smirk on their face. I raised an eyebrow at them and gave awkward wave before going to my motorcycle and driving off.
