A powerful mix

(Fun fact about wolves. They would often cheat on their mate with other members in their pack. That goes for most males of the pac.)

Me and Alice were taking a break from all the research we usually do. We already have lots of leads and notes that we can go by. We actually filled up both of our notebooks over the month.

I was with Alice at my house watching a movie. My mom, dad, and Mia were gone to a park and wouldn't be back till night time because they had a day off and Mia wanted to spend more time with them.

"I always like when we lounge around like this." Alice said snuggling into my chest. We're on the couch in the living room. The living room is really big and has a 78"inch flat screen TV on the wall.

It was perfect to watch a movie and just relax. The couch we had was an adjustable one. I messed with her hair and hugged her tighter.

"Yeah, I almost forget how things thought to be fake are real." I said sighing slightly.

"It'll be fun finding them. Right?" Asked Alice happily pulling herself up to be on eye level with me. She was ready to leave at any moment.

"Yeah. That reminds me. Can I have some of your venom?" I asked casually. I have been putting it off for some time, but I need to see what would happen if my blood and the venom were to collide.

"Yeah, but why?" She asked curiously. I had no reason to not tell her so I did.

"I want to know what would happen if my blood and your venom were to collide. Like would they mix or would one dominate the other." I said with a grin.

I was thinking of the possibilities that would be unlocked if they mixed. It was like how scientists act when they're about to make a breakthrough.

"What will you do after that?" Alice was excited about this too because she never thought of it. She also wanted to know what would happen.

"Well..I'll have to find some animals to test it on. I'm not sure what will happen, so I'll have to wait." I said thinking of things like mutant animals. It would be nice to have one but to many unpredictable things could happen.

"Ok, do you want it now or later?" She was really into this and I can tell from the excitement and curiosity leaking from her voice. I already knew Alice was the curios type and smiled a little.

"Well let's start now, since I've actually been putting this off for months." I raised up and shifted off the couch. I had asked Carlisle for some glass vials awhile back and still had them.

I brung Alice up to my room and sat her in the chair at my desk. I took two vials out of my desk. I had gotten four just Incase I broke one, or two.

"Okay Alice, I'm going to put this under your canine teeth and just let the venom flow or salivate." I said pulling her chin up to look at me.

"Okay, also we can choose to release the venom or not. Just a note." She said proudly. Well technically she taught me something.

Shaking my head. I put the vial in her mouth under her tooth and the venom just started leaking out like a small faucet. It was like a clear liquid with a yellow tent.

The venom almost filled the vial when I told her to stop.

"Now we just need some of my blood." I said and made a cut appear on my palm. I pushed the blood out till it almost filled the vial. I had put half of what was in both vials into the other two vials separately.

One had my blood in it the other had her venom. I pored some of my blood into the vial with her venom.

"Can I spin it?" Alice asked. I chuckled seeing how she looked at the vials in anticipation. It was cute but I resisted myself and told her to go ahead.

She picked up the vial and spent it around at super speed. The blood mixed with her venom and made a murky red color. It looked ominous and from the dominant red color, it looked like my blood is stronger.

Before doing anything else I did the same thing to the other vials except, I put Alice's venom into my blood. I did this to see if my blood would was naturally more dominant or was it because Alice's venom was caught "off guard".

My suspicion proved wrong when my blood immediately started corrupting her venom he second they came in contact.

'I guess we didn't need to spin it.' I chuckled to myself. I looked over my shoulder and saw Alice's eyes basically had stars in them.

"What do you think would happen if we gave that to a bear?" She said in a high pitched voice. I was stunned. Why would you want to give that to a bear?

"Sorry to burst you bubble, but we'll start off small though. Like a squirrel." I said. We can't be trying to do something crazy with this and end up making an unknown species without knowing what it can do.

"Hurry up, let's go back to the forest for some animals." Alice said. She was dressed in flexible blue jeans, a black shirt, and vans. She was already by my door and ready to leave me.

I sighed and shook my head with a smile. I really like the energetic Alice. It's never boring with her around. I already had on some joggers and a normal white shirt. I just threw on some slides and put on a Jacket.

"Are you sure you want to run around the forest with...slides on?" Alice asked strangely. I picked up the vials and put the caps on.

"Yeah, besides its not like the squirrels are fast enough to avoid us." I said proudly. It was true and we both knew it. We were far beyond any animals.

"I'm not talking about the animals, I'm taking about the forest. What if you trip over some roots?" She asked laughing a bit at my misunderstanding.

"I'll just kick the damn things, no bigy." I said casually. Alice dropped it and went downstairs with me closely behind.

We were in the same room that Carlisle used to stick Bella up after her birthday. It obviously didn't take us to long to get a few test subjects. We got mainly squirrels, and a few birds. It was easy to just pick up pieces of rock and throw them with enough strength to hit the bird. This also helped with squirrels that were on trees.

We needed this room because because it had a syringe and a place to hold the animals while we operated on them. I put a bird on the table and held it down.

"Alice I need you to put a little bit of the mix in the syringe and inject it into the bird." I said. I wanted to get this done and write down the results. It was all to interesting and I knew Alice was too. It was almost like you could feel the excitement coming off her.

'Well, Jasper can.' I thought with a chuckle. Alice looked over to me as she was about to inject the bird.

"What?" She asked. I waved it off and she continued to penetrate the bird. It wiggled around trying to get away, but I held it firmly. It then stopped when the injection was done.

It was sitting there lifeless. Even with my hearing on max it had no pulse, or breathing. Then out of nowhere it chirped and flipped around.

It was too high pitched and almost burst my eardrums. I toned it down to normal and still held on to the bird. It's wing span grew along with its body.

The bird was a normal sparrow. It was as small as a mouse. Now it resembles a falcon with the size of an eagle. It was also strong. I had to put a small bit of effort to hold it down. It's beak was pecking at the table and it's wings and talons were cutting it.

The talons actually left deep gashed in the table from scratching it. The simple bird got so strong from a little bit of my that mixture.

It was amazing that with maybe a few drops of blood could do this. Then I remembered when Alice wanted to give the whole thing to a bear. I smiled worriedly. That type of strength might be way above a group of newborns.

It didn't faze me much though since I couldn't set the damn, thing ablaze immediately. I then looked to my left to see Alice eying the bird. Her eyes were pitch black, letting me know she was hungry and specifically wanted this bird.

I knew when their eyes are black they almost can't control their selves, but here she was restating herself. I let the bird go and with a speed that is a blur to the human eye, it shot towards a cage we had the other animals in.

I noted everything that changed when we injected the sparrow. Other than it's appearance and overall fighting capability, it seems it's went from a herbivore to a carnivore.

In despite of its new strength and speed, Alice seemingly appeared out of nowhere and snatched it by the wings. She yanked the wings off and drained it of any blood it had.

All that was left was a shriveled up bird. Alice let's out a satisfied moan after draining the bird. Her eyes however were instead of back to being golden to being a mix of the two. No, instead of a mix it was like, layered.

The outer layer was a ocean color blue, inner layer was a goldish brown with small red stripes. It looked absolutely beautiful. I was stuck dazed for a while before my phone rang. It was a call from my parents.

[Hello.]

[Hey Zane, where are you right now?] My dad asked normally.

[I'm with Alice at her house. Why?] I asked slightly worried

[Can you two come over to the house? Mia tuckered herself out a bit early, we want to talk to you too about something important.] He said

[You didn't try to marry me off did you.?] I asked jokingly. Alice at my side giggling cutely.

My dad laughed over the phone before calming himself down.

[No. It's just something we've been meaning to tell both of you.]

[Ok, we're on the way.] I said with a smile.

We hung up and cleaned everything in the room. The animals that weren't used got let free, only to return tomorrow. We got in the car and drove back to my house.

When we got in the house, my mom and dad were both on the couch. We sat on the couch and got comfortable thinking this would take a while. When we did, they got right to business.

"Me, your mom and Mia are moving out. This house will be yours." My dad says.
