Mother in-law Questions

Hito left Mr Yamauchi alone in the room where they had their drinking contest.

He went straight to the living room where Sakura's mother was waiting for him, he went there and Mrs Yamauchi noticed his presence.

"Oh? Son in law! Tell me what happened between you and my husband?" That was the first question she asked after seeing him.

Though he realized that Sakura's mom started to call him 'Son-in-law' he didn't really mind. However, it would take him a while to get used to it.

Hito smiled wryly, and started to explain what happened about an hour ago. Saying that Mr Yamauchi's challenge was drinking liquor!

Hearing his explanation, she couldn't help but slap herself on the forehead, to think her husband forced a minor to drink?!

It seemed that he would be sleeping on the couch this week!

Mrs Yamauchi sighed and  looked at Hito with an apologetic expression.

"Son-in-law, sorry about that. That idiot husband of mine, really...! But I'm surprised that you aren't drunk? Even if you only drank a little bit of liquor... I know how high the Liquor percentage of those Liquors at the attic are! It shouldn't be lower than 60 percent!"

Hito scratched his head and laughed dryly. "Haha… it's actually 80 percent ma'a- I mean mother."

He immediately changed the way he called Mrs Yamauchi, as he could see the atmosphere change for a split second, as he was about to say 'Ma'am', he had to thank his reading the atmosphere skill for this!

Mrs Yamauchi sighed. "Honestly that man! But I'm quite impressed that you have such a high tolerance for drinking liquor! After all, just a sip from that Liquor could make a minor like you collapse."

Hito nodded and didn't say anything. If it wasn't for him learning the Liquor Resistance skill, he was 100% sure he would get knocked within just 4-5 glasses.

Just a reminder Hito alone drank 2 liters of nearly 80 percentage liquor.

Mrs Yamauchi suddenly asked something Hito didn't expect, and it caught him completely off guard.

"Alright, since my daughter isn't here let me ask you this question. How many women do you have besides my daughter?"

Hearing that, Hito's eyes widened. But then he calmed down. It wasn't that he was trying to hide that fact anyway, so he wasn't afraid since he had nothing to hide.

Mrs Yamauchi continued. "You don't need to lie. From the moment I met you, I knew that you were someone who wouldn't be satisfied with just one woman in life, call it a girls' instinct if you will. Especially with the way you look, you are basically a walking girl magnet! I wouldn't be surprised if you already had tens of girls as lovers."

Hito couldn't help but smile wryly, what kind of reasoning was that? Then he replied.

"Yes, I do have other women other than your daughter."

Hearing that Sakura's mother sighed. As she was about to say something she was interrupted since Hito continued speaking.

"Though I have said that I had women other than Sakura, it's just some love interest. The others besides Sakura haven't officially entered in a relationship with me, except for one..."

Sakura's mother was surprised, and replied. "So you're saying my daughter is your first?"

Hito nodded with a smile. "Yes she's my first girlfriend, the very first love of my life."

Sakura's mother nodded in satisfaction, and then spoke. "I'm glad to hear that, but do you mind telling me about the one woman with whom you're having an official relationship with other than my daughter?"

Hito decided to be straight forward. "Though I said one, there's actually 2 if I have to be honest. But the other one is rather complicated…"

Sakura's mother nodded, and then. "Please continue, I'd like to hear about them."

He nodded, and took a deep breath. "The first one is just a teenager with the same age as me and your daughter, she's a rich Ojou-sama and her talent in cooking is really good. So umm… it was just a slip of tongue but I kind of proposed to her while her grandfather was besides her, and her grandfather actually supported the idea! But the most ridiculous point was the girl didn't seem to oppose it, even though that was the very first day we met each other! So basically she's my fiancee now.."

Sakura's mother was speechless. It was like a scene from a TV drama that you could see daily. Instead of being angry or anything she was even more interested!

She wanted to hear more about her Son-In-Law's little adventure with the Ojou-sama!

"You don't need to hide the girl's name now, do you? just tell me."

Hito nodded, and he answered. "Her name is Erina. Erina Nakiri!"

Hearing that Sakura's mother immediately stood up from her seat and shouted.

"What?!"

Seeing Sakura's mother's shocked expression. Hito spoke.

"You know about her?"

"Of course! Who doesn't know about Erina-sama! Most people that have a connection with the culinary world know about her! The owner of the God tongue! And the granddaughter of the Culinary God Senzaemon Nakiri-sama!"

Hito was looking at Sakura's mother with a surprised expression, he knew that the Nakiri's were popular but he never thought that they were this much of a big deal? What's up with the God Tongue? Isn't it just a Tongue which is slightly superior than ordinary?

For someone like Hito who didn't understand the significance of the God Tongue, it wasn't much of a big deal. Because he defeated the owner of that Tongue, plus he got tied with Senzaemon in a match, the Culinary God himself. Basically he was in the very peak of the culinary world at the moment!

"I didn't know that they were that famous, but yes she's my fiancee and Senzaemon Oji-san supports it."

Suppressing her shock, she sat at the chair again.

"Son-in-law if what you're saying is true, then do zyou know how shocking this matter is?"

Hito shook his head. "No idea, it doesn't really matter to me as long as it's not harmful to me, my close ones, and my family."

Sakura's mother shook her head, she couldn't help but think 'He doesn't seem to be lying, if it were to be true then who is this Son-In-Law of mine? He's getting more and more Mysterious as we talk...'

"So who is the other one? The one you said that is complicated?"

Since he decided to be straight forward, he replied. "The other one is Yoruichi Nekohime, as for why our relationship is complicated… we had sex-"

"What?!"

Before Hito could continue, he was interrupted by a shout, he looked at the person who shouted and it was the person he was expecting to appear for some time now. Sakura was finally here!
