Timid Day

"Lance...." Shiro mumbled

The sky was clearing up, allowing the stars to shine in the darkness of the night. Shiro let out a heavy breath and leaned against the stone wall behind him.

If Lance truly wanted to fight him... he had all the power in the world to do it, but did not choose to. Perhaps he was tired of losing? Or perhaps he was afraid of getting hurt...?Or maybe Lance was just scared of him?

"What have I gotten myself into...?" Shiro murmured to himself.

"Shiro?" He heard someone ask, snapping him out of his thoughts.

He glanced up to see Junus peering down at him from above. He glanced up to see Junus peering down at him from above. He tried to reply but found it difficult to form words. He was so exhausted. If he hadn't been so tired earlier then he never would've fallen unconscious. He felt lightheaded, dizzy, and weak as his whole body ached.

His entire body screamed at him for rest, to take a moment for himself, to get some much needed rest.
