Observations

Explosions outside could be heard as Shiro woke up due to the vibrations rocking the foundation under him. He looked out through his open window to see what was causing all the chaos, when he spotted a man with black hair and purple markings on their arms. They were also flying towards a building at a dangerously high speed.

The street had pretty much been abandoned when the explosions began, and most of the city had gone to sleep. He thought nothing of it until now as they flew by the window, but then there was a sudden movement in the corner of his eye and he looked over. A man wearing a purple suit had gotten onto the roof of a building opposite his house and was walking towards it.

Shiro pulled out a cigarette and lit it, looking back at the window, just before another explosion rocked the ground. This one felt more intense than the first, and he found himself unable to sit still until his door burst open.
