When Taylor didn't respond, Jerome continued, "If you truly like her, buy her a house and let her move out of here. Anyway, I doubt that a girl born in poverty would care about being a duly wife. All you need to do is give her pocket money to spend. Besides, it's not unusual for men to have more than one woman; you could marry someone else." 

Suddenly, the former sneered and said, "So, that was your mentality when you cheated on my mother?"

At once, Jerome's expression turned a little displeased. "Taylor, I'm talking about you now. Why are you bringing up the past? No matter what, Layla can't stay in our home, and I won't accept her as my daughter-in-law! Instead, you should look for a lady from a well-matched family. You can't live with that unruly girl forever!"
