Joining Straw Hats

The boat was sailing for a few mins now Loki is still in a daze, thinking about many things.

'I never thought I will found this much excitement in this world. Fighting those people even though they are weak gives a different feel. And I don't feel any lag in this body. It feels complete like, as I've been using this for a long time.

I thought it would take some time for me to get used to it, but everything feels like a glove. Maybe I was born here as Loki, and my past life memories were unlocked during the death crisis a few days ago?

Who knows there are tropes of this kind of concept when I read those isekai novels. HeeHee, I am thinking based on novels I read. Is it matter anymore why or how I came to this world? All there is to enjoy it and not waste it.

It's like watching pokemon for the first time when I was a kid, thinking about having my own adventure and shouting at home 'Pikachu, I choose you by holding a fake poke ball I got for my birthday. If I think about this, I did have lots of adventurous spirits when I was younger. But society fucked up hard to show the reality.

I am one of the millions and millions of people who lost to the beast called society. On earth, money and status are power. Here power is literally power. This is a world even if you want nothing and enjoy a peaceful life on some island, your life may be ruined by any random pirate or some absolute justice marine. Only if I am strong enough, I can enjoy this life without any regrets.

I decided I would travel the world and become strong to be free. And enjoy everything this world will offer.

I need to be thankful I got a good starting point. And I met Luffy too. Maybe I can use this chance to join his crew. I didn't expect I would meet Luffy like this. Though it's too much of a cliché situation, I think it's better if I join him. Apart from the adventures, potential Nakamas, and family background, the most important thing about Luffy is his luck. And I needed all the luck I needed.

From what I watched in the one piece, Hunter X Hunter, and other animes, and read in novels, the protagonists will have superb luck. Only with this, will they always escape from the sure death crisis and become stronger or find some inheritance or some powerful techniques easily.

Again, I am taking too much reference from anime, but how can I not I am literally in anime reality. And moreover, how many of them can escape from the whirlpool by hiding in a barrel that too devils fruit users? this proves Luffy is the lucky one, right, hope so.

"Loki san, LOKI SANNNN." Coby shouted, looking at the handsome man in a trance-like state.

'Who is this guy? He defeated that many people very easily. Why is he even coming in this boat like there is nothing wrong.'

"HAHAHAHAHA." Laughed Luffy looking at this scene.

Listening to Coby's shout and Luffy's laugh, Loki came out of his musings and looked at Coby intensely.

'Is he angry because I shouted at him?' Coby started to shiver.

"Who are you?" Asked Link. He knows him because of Anime, but Coby didn't introduce himself yet.

"AHHn.." Coby opened his mouth wide. 'So you are thinking about who I am, and I felt like you are going to hit me. Ya, before I introduce myself, marines came, so we jumped.'

"I am Coby. Nice to meet you."

"How nice?" (Classic from spare me great lord)

"...."

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA." Looking at the bewildered face of Coby both Luffy and Loki laughed hard.

Loki ruffled the pink hair and said, "Why are you shivering so much?"

"He is a coward and crybaby. HEHEHE," Luffy said.

Coby didn't say to refute that and simply smiled foolishly.

"So why called me Coby."

"Ha. Ya, I want to ask why you joined us in this boat."

"Hahaha, I thought it would be interesting to come with you guys rather than going on that cruise."

'Well, I actually saved them from pirates. So, it can be considered as I repaid them back rite.'

"Loki san, please advise Luffy san not to go to the grand line." Coby adjusted his mess of hair and said to Loki.

"Oh. Why don't you want him to go."

"It's a pirate graveyard. It's very dangerous there. How can someone go there?"

Loki smirked slightly and said. "I, too, wanted to go there. After all, my dream is to travel all the islands, taste different cuisines, and enjoy myself to the fullest. It should be the greatest adventure, and I want to become the strongest man in the world. HAAHHHAHAH" Loki shouted the last sentence standing up, stretching both of his hands like he wanted to hug the entire world, laughing loudly.

For some reason, he felt very free at this moment. He didn't say this to impress Luffy or anything. These are all his heartfelt words.

Now expressing these words, he felt free. Like some constraints or chain was broken. Maybe the lingering soul was completely fused, or something else happened, he doesn't know.

But he felt some kind of wild joy that he had never experienced. The monotonous life in his previous life made him not interested in anything, but now his heart is beating fast, adrenaline is pumping, and the expectation of adventure rekindles his childhood joy.

Coby looked amazed, looking at Loki. Luffy and Loki are willing to do anything for their dreams.

"Can I too become Navy admiral?" asked Coby slightly.

"If you don't try, how you will know." Replied Loki.

Coby looked at Loki, who was smiling at him.

Luffy, who is only grinning at the side, now looked at Loki and said, "Yoshi, I decided. Loki, join my crew. "

Loki was first stunned and grinned at Luffy. "Sure."

"HAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHHA."

Both of them laughed like idiots. Coby was shocked by the current development. He is getting more shocked many times today than in his entire life now. Maybe other than going fishing but joining pirates.

"How can you ask someone to join this soon, and how can you join immediately." Coby wondered aloud.

"Why not" Luffy was confused and tiled his head to the side.

Loki smiled and sat down without offering any answer for that. It was amusing to watch Coby explain common sense and Luffy treat Coby like an Idiot.
