105 Here We Go!

So many strange things like accidents, meetings, revelations, phone calls and preparations happened in one night that Colonel Amelia was not even able to get a wink of sleep. She was busy with so many things that the night ended too quickly.

It was already a brand new day – central date 93234. It was the day when the rescue team would depart from Celine to Kermurkheim. 

The Federation did not get the intel that they hoped for as David never returned back from Kermurkheim. And they had to rely on the limited information that they already knew. 

They knew that the hostages were kept in the dungeon in the underground settlement; they knew that the berserkers had one-manned fighter craft; and they knew that the berserkers were very strong than any average soldiers of the Federation.

But what they did not know was the total number of berserkers in the underground settlement. And thus, they assumed that sending 1000 trained soldiers would suffice.
